Kareena Kapoor looks like a fat aunty: KRK

Kareena Kapoor has been getting a lot of flak about her weight ever since the IPL opening ceremony and now the latest one to take a dig at the Heroine is actor-producer Kamaal R Khan who has called her "a fat aunty."

and KRK didn't miss the opportunity to take a dig at her. He tweeted during the ceremony: "Kareena was looking like an aunty."

Bebo has put on some visible weight, especially if we compare her to her size zero avatar in Tashan (200. "When I saw her dance wearing that glittering dress, I really felt she is looking like a fat aunty," he told a daily.

"Since a couple of her films have flopped in a row, maybe she has become disappointed with herself and is now resigned to the fact that she has to get married to Saif Ali Khan. But, it was really sad to see her looking so matronly and fat," the daily quoted him as saying.

Guess it's time for her to hit the gym!

Priyanka ignores questions over her friendship with SRK

Bollywood has been abuzz with the talks of Priyanka Chopra and Shah Rukh Khan's "good friendship", but the actress prefers silence when asked about it.

At the launch of her upcoming film opposite Shahid Kapur- Teri Meri Kahani- a straight faced Priyanka battled the media with queries, related to her uncanny relationship with King Khan.

"I never said anything of that sort," Priyanka said, vehemently denying that SRK was the man who can make her blush. However, on her appearance with Shahid on Karan Johar's talk show Koffee with Karan it was certainly a different Priyanka. She did blush as both Karan and Shahid teased her with SRK's name.

In fact, at the Screen Awards function held recently, Priyanka said SRK taught her the meaning of love. Coming back to the launch of Teri Meri Kahani, it was a pleasant sight to see Priyanka and Shahid together after quite a hiatus.

However, Shahid made it clear, "I have been trying to make Priyanka blush, but koshish zaari hai. Woh sirf camera ke liye blush karti hai." People might wonder if being tagged as a home-wrecker has put Priyanka on high alert and in a denial mode. She chose the dignified silence when asked about tabloid reports that heavily took her side and propped her not as a home-breaker.

She maintained the same stance when asked about Karan Johar's response to the reports with an instigating tweet. That raises question whether Priyanka has been deliberately assuming a poker face and whether she would clear the air over the speculations on her "friendship" with SRK.

Big B mum on ZANJEER controversy

Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan chose to maintain silence over the recent controversy that has sparked to life regarding the remake of ZANJEER.

The original film starring the 'Angry Young Man' himself along with his wife Jaya Bachchan was a 1973 blockbuster directed by Prakash Mehra and co-written by Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar.

Mehra's son Amit has decided to take up the mantle and while the writer duo of Salim-Javed has gone up in arms against the project, Amitabh brushed his hands off the matter.

''We are not doing a charity. It's a business. There is copyright. If they give us the price we will definitely give our permission. We had sold the rights to Prakash Mehra for making the film once, not over and over again. Five years ago we had charged Rs 1 crore from Excel Entertainment and director and co-producer Farhan for the DON remake and now these people are making it into two languages,'' Khan had earlier said.

Akhtar treading along similar lines had earlier said, ''There are two things. Firstly they have to acquire the rights from us and secondly they have to tell us about the changes they want to make and such changes should be acceptable to us.''

Salim's son and Bollywood actor Salman Khan had earlier supported the move of remaking ZANJEER.

''I feel 100 percent ...a remake of ZANJEER should be made. It was a super hit film,'' he had said.

With the bank rolling success of the latest remake of another superhit venture starring Amitabh Bachchan, AGNEEPATH, the decision to redo ZANJEER is hardly a surprise but now it remains to be seen what happens with the controversy gripping the project even before its onset.

After Priyanka, Katrina gets friendly with Shah Rukh Khan

Mumbai: She may be the ex-girlfriend of Shah Rukh Khan's biggest archrival Salman Khan, but Katrina Kaif makes no bones about bonding with King Khan. And this is not just within the confines of their film set in London. Apparently Kat was recently spotted at a cafe in Bandra, which is also one of SRK's regular spots, whenever he is in town.
Interestingly, regulars at the restaurant say that they have often spotted SRK and Gauri at the cafe. One wonders if he might have recommended the joint to his leading lady who is keeping her weight in check for her next film with Aamir.
Says an eyewitness, "Katrina was there for lunch on Sunday with a bunch of girlfriends and spent a lot of time at the cafe. Shah Rukh usually orders shakes and salads. Katrina and her girlfriends called for a maxi protein burgers, coco brown rice and multivitamin juices."

Says our source, "She seemed very conscious of what she was eating. She seems to be on a diet and that's probably why she chose the place. Also, the place serves vegetarian food."
The growing friendship between Katrina and SRK also came to light recently when the actor came to Kat's rescue when she was almost mobbed at the airport. SRK was even quoted praising her acting talent at a recent event. He said, "Katrina is a very good actor. I was extremely impressed."
Well it's always good to make new friends, but here's hoping Khan does not forget his old ones (read Salman). Now that Kat has joined the list of his friends we wonder if she'll play catalyst in bringing together the long-lost buddies. PS: Coincidentally, the cafe where Kat was spotted is situated adjacent to Salman and Arbaaz's Bandra office.

Shahid Kapoor has not lost faith in true love as yet

Mumbai: Shahid Kapoor, who will be next seen in Kunal Kohli`s love saga `Teri Meri Kahani` has been linked to numerous Bollywood actresses including his co-star Priyanka Chopra, after his break-up with Kareena Kapoor. But the actor feels that it is difficult to find a love story in real life.

"Obviously I believe in love and have faith in it. I think love is the most beautiful thing in the world..it makes the world go round. I think everybody is eventually looking for love..but it is difficult to find one complete love story in real," Shahid told reporters here last evening.

"Through this film (`Teri Meri Kahani`) may be this is our way of escaping from reality and trying to show three different love stories and believing in romance. I think the most exciting thing in this movie is that there are three
different love stories in it spread across three different generations. It is exciting to see how the journey of two lovers unfolds in three time spans - 1910, 1960 and 2012," he said.

The 31-year-old star was dating Kareena when they started filming for Ken Ghosh`s 2004 film `Fida`. They were going steady until they separated during the making of `Jab We Met` in 2007.

Another strong buzz was about his alleged relationship with Priyanka Chopra. They met on the sets of Vishal Bhardwaj`s `Kaminey` and had hit it off instantly. Their sizzling chemistry on reel was quite opposite to their on-an-off relationship, which seemed volatile.

Shahid was also linked to Vidya Balan during `Kismet Connection`. Whether this hook-up was for real or just a gimmick is not yet known. This was followed by alleged affairs with tennis sensation Sania Mirza Bipasha Basu, Anushka Sharma and the latest being Nargis Fakhri of `Rockstar` fame.

The only relationship that Shahid was quite open about was with Kareena.
Even his alleged ex-girlfriend Priyanka Chopra feels love makes the world go round.

"I believe in love.. it may sound clichéd but it is true that love makes the world go round. There are lot of people whom I love the most, the list is not that long, but it starts with my family," Priyanka said.

"I think romance has to go beyond flowers and etc, it is clichéd... and they is no fun anymore. And like Shahid said it is important to smile and be happy in love. Just flowers don`t do anything anymore," she said.

After creating magic on silver screen with `Kaminey` and now `Teri Meri Kahani` both Shahid and Priyanka hope to work again together.

"She is one of the finest actresses and it is always a pleasure working with her, I hope we get the opportunity to work together again," Shahid said.

On her part, Priyanka says, "We have always worked together very well as co-actors.. the way this film has got response and `Kaminey` had also got.. I am sure we will really work together in the future if something interesting comes."

Bipasha to star in John's Shootout At Wadala

Despite breaking up almost two years back and continuously taking digs at each other, John Abraham and Bipasha Basu might just be seen together in Ekta Kapoor's next film Shootout At Wadala. However, Bipasha Basu will be seen in an item number in the film.

However, when asked for a confirmation, Ekta Kapoor made light of the enquiry. "Aap ko pata chal gaya (You came to know)!" she laughed, refusing to divulge anything further. The souce also told the daily, "Whether John and Bips will have any scenes together is still being kept a secret, but the fact that they are ready to be in the same movie is a new beginning."

While adult film star Sunny Leone is busy shooting her Bollywood debut in Jaipur, it looks like Phillipines-based actor-filmmaker Stegath Dorr’s is trying his best to cash in on the actress’ recently flourishing career in India. Dorr is looking to release his second adult content film with Sunny, Black Shama in the country.

Incidentally, the filmmaker is also confident that the film will find a connect with the Indian audience. According to Dorr, the film is “an old-fashioned ghost story about abrasive pro-am bird photographers arousing the vengeful spirit of a medieval Malay witch doctor on sacred land.”

The adult film actress is said to play a Canadian-Sikh professional female photographer Jenny Singh in this film and it has been shot in Cebu, Philippines. Incidentally, Sunny too is said to be of Sikh-Punjabi origin.

Dorr however is a little apprehensive about how the Indian Censor Board will react to his project, made on a modest budget of $(US)1,00,000. While referring to a notorious and graphic molestation scene featuring Sunny and him, he says, “The graphic brutality of the molestation-murder sequence resulted in extensive re-editing.

And the sheer realistic nature of the death scenes were so shocking that the Philippine Film Board would never allow the movie to see the light of the day.”

Dorr has no qualms in admitting that he is actually trying to cash in on the hype of Sunny’s newfound Bollywood connection and adds that there was once a time when the actress was not at all in favour of working in India.

He points out, “Back then, Sunny spoke very little Hindi and the casting couch in Bollywood also turned her off,” and adds, “When she was a pediatric nursing student in California, she was also doing modelling in the nude.”

Dorr’s first film with Sunny — Pirates’ Blood, was shot at South star Mohanlal’s studio in Kerala in 2008. However, the film was shelved due to a regulatory dispute between multiplex owners and the filmmaker in 2009.

Sunny’s Bollywood debut under Pooja Bhatt has also helped revive Pirates’ Blood. Dorr says, “A couple of weeks ago, I was contacted by Gulab Premkumar and was requested to return to India to shoot additional scenes for the film in order to re-release it.”

Housefull 2 Has Good Opening Blood Money Decent First Week

Housefull 2 had a good start at the box office with collections in the 70-75% range on day one. The opening was 100% at some centres especially in the UP region. It also faced hugd competition in the form of regional films in Punjab and Nizam/Andhra which hit collections in these circuits by around 5-10%.



Blood Money had a decent first week of around 8.75 crore nett but the collections saw a massive drop on the 8th day as Housefull 2 released. If the film can manage to add a few crore more it will emerge an average fare.



Bumboo was a very poor fare all over. DISASTER




Agent Vinod fell heavily in week two collecting around 6.75 crore nett and taking its two week total to around 43 crore nett. The film has practically finished its business with the release of Housefull 2. FLOP
