Ajay Devgan-Kajol fight

This was a marriage that sounded just like the ones you see in romantic films. She was the most popular heroine in recent times and he had an image of a very serious actor. Kajol and Ajay Devgan got married after a brief and intense courtship and are now the proud parents of a baby girl.

Kajol made a very successful comeback into films.

Now, Ajay Devgan and Kajol are playing the lead roles in a film that also marks Devgan's debut as director.

Abhishek-Aish create a stir in Tirupathi!

About 40 members in 10 cars arrived at Thirupati and as a result, about 40,000 devotees were made to cool their heels endlessly to give way for Abhishek-Aishwarya to pray to the lord.

Amitabh had already made a vow to visit Thirupati after the marriage. So, after the solemnisation of the marriage, Amitabh and family with a few close friends and relatives, took a flight to Renigunta and went from there by 10 cars to Thirupati.

The star couple prayed for 20 minutes at Lord Venkateswara's altar. When they came out, the devotees flocked for a darshan of the popular stars! The Bachchan entourage finally made an escape from the milling crowd. Because of their 2 hour Thirupati visit, no vehicles were allowed uphill from 6am. Nor were devotees allowed in for darshan.

As a result of such restrictions, devotees and general public were put to much hardship.Wonder if even the Prime Minister of India will be given that much security.

On the whole, Tirupathi Devasthanam forgot the Lord of Ezhumalai for a while yesterday!

Penalized for a kiss? Richard Gere shocked!

Richard Gere is shocked that he has been issued an arrest warrant just for kissing Shilpa Shetty.

In an interview to a private channel, this is what Gere said. "There is nothing wrong in kissing Shilpa on her cheek. They have unnecessarily blown it up into an issue. I have never heard someone being jailed just for giving a kiss. There are many people in India who are extremely orthodox. These are the people who blow up small events like this into huge issues. I am sure such small issues will be squashed by the court."


He also said he was ready to issue an apology if his kiss for Shilpa had unintentionally hurt someone's sentiments. He also rued the fact that Shilpa got into trouble because of his actions.


The Jaipur magistrate had in the meantime issued an arrest warrant against Gere and Shilpa.

Ex-Attorney General Soli Sorabjee said, "The judicial magistrate should not behave like Taliban police. This case is being pursued purely for publicity and without making out the difference between an obscene event and a crazy event, the magistrate has given such an order."
