actually reverse s happening. most of d decisions r now taken by sachin.

ganguly captain aanenkil sachin alla iny aaraanenkilum ganguly'de order anusarikkum

dhony, irfan, harbhajan, yuvraj, sevag etc proved under gangulys captaincy.

but how many players r developed under dravid?

it was ganguly who made India a great team n once bcci felt team India s gud they removed ganguly, they wud hva thought India will continue its winning run n can stop gangulys ego.

dravid got som wins n d initial stage but its n d dead n flat Indian pitches n with d same team that ganguly developed.

but now loosing with everyone---this was an xpected situation

hop ganguly'll prov n test n b crowned as d skipper of Indian team once again

What you said is 100% correct. Dravid is only a great player, not a good Captian

As a captain Dravid is worst than Sachin. Last season India won matches not because of dravid's captaincy.......Players performed well.....especially Pathaan & Dhoni were in Top form... Both of them win several matches for us Yuvraj also was in good form those times

Raphi Macha... Nobody is questioning Gangulys leadership skills... pakshe his basic batting skills have fallen apart... his scoring 83 in the practice match may fool you but not me... against quality bowling India has only 1 CONSISTENT thats Dravid... Whats worse is that Dravid is also the pivot in even ODI's... there was a time in his career where i have also cursed him for his ODI batting... but he worked hard and changed his approach and game... since 2002-03 he is India's best and most consistent ODI batsman too.. we a good strike rate too... he is Indias best finisher too...

Now coming to Dravid as the skipper... he hasnt done a bad job... the team he has did very well for the first 6 or 7 months, then there was a loss of form from the key batsmen including Dravid himself... the next 6 months was poor... so his captaincy record would be more like 50-50 in ODIs... which isnt a bad record considering the kind of form the team has had over the past 6 months...

Besides I personally feel that what has happened is good... remember 7 months ago we broke the world record for successful chases... everything looked rosy, 7 months later everything looks bleak... truth is somewhere in between... but we know our strengths and weaknesses...

I fully subscribe to Chappels theory, in ODI's fielding is a must... which explains why greg wanted Ganguly, Laxman, Zaheer and Kumble out... We need more Yuvraj, Kaif, Raina, Karthik type of fielders... onl then can we build up pressure and win matches... otherwise even if we score 300 opponents will hit it... or if a team like Aus bats first they will score 350+... thats because of fielding problems...

Even in this South Africa series... the biggest difference between the 2 sides was fielding... that inspite of having our best fielders... now that those guys have been dumped our fielding goes from bad to worse and so will the results... we maybe able to win a few matches on batting power... but we are not likely to beat the better teams on a consistent basis...

So to put the long story short... our impatience has put an end to Chappell's and Dravid's attempt to change Indian cricket... now we are back to square one and we will all be KUSH by seeing Sachin hitting a century and India loosing or Dhoni hiting 5 sixes and India loosing ... Nammalkallellum idhoke thaneye vidichitullu... Kandille Indian Hockey... adhu thane...
