Even if its a remake, it is not an easy task to generate hits as it has to reach the expectations level of original. Even superstar initially made hits by remaking bigb's hindi movies which includes megahits like basha(hum) and chandramukhi and many more. Then kaavalan initially came to vijay only but due to date clashes he could not do it at that time.

it is not confirmed..ameer has said a story to vijay but still not confirmed.but heard Kannabhiran will be done by jeyam ravi..actually ravi was to do this movie..but ameer thought it is not the right time for Kannabhiran so he started Aadhi Bhagavan with jeyam ravi..

Sathyaraj who always say Vijay is the next MGR is also acting as a co-star of Vijay in tamil remake of 3idiots,the actor who disagreed to act under shanker’s direction in Rajni’s Sivaji agreed to act in the 3idiots because Vijay is also acting in it.For the question-if Vijay is confirmed acting in 3idiots remake Sathyaraj replied that i will act in this film only if vijay is in the main cast,the shooting will start on january 30 in Ooty followed by a long schedule in Dehradun,it is decided to shoot the film portions in which Vijay’s character is not involved.After when Vijay completes Velayudham those portions will be shooted.Vijays velayudham is said to be completed 65%.
Sathyaraj also added that what he likes in Vijay is his patience but sometimes it is also a minus for him,Vijay is seen in news almost all the time with untruthful news whatever the medias say Vijay will not say anything to it he will not take it to mind.Medias had said that Vijay’s era is over,Vijay’s last six films flopped,Vijay will decided his political party,Vijay films are having same story etc.
Whatever they say Vijay will not open his mouth,my son sibiraj once said that Pokkiri is one of the biggest block buster and when the media says about last 6 films this film is also include how can it be like this,everyone knows the truth but it is the act of some to destroy Vijays image because i don’t think that all his films have same story and coming to the latest theater owners issue-how can it be lose for theater 5 times and still they bought the film for higher cost for the 6th time and anna isn’t saying anything about it.
At that time i was unable to give reply to my son but now i can because for those who said Vijay era is over,what i want to say is that it is Vijay mania now,Vijay had made such a come back through his Kavalan and by the selection of upcoming movies.
And one thing i want to tell the media is do not harm one person who doesn’t harm you but does good for the society,i don’t know what is the need for medias to give fake news for the benefits of some unknown personalities.If god decided to give something to one you cannot do anything to stop it and Vijay will attain the highest position of tamil film industry because he has such a capacity that you can call him a one man troup he alone can give such an energy to the film and that is also once again the specialty of vijay films.
