Who will direct Vijay's 60th film?

Vijay is currently busy with the shooting of his 59th film with director Atlee and at the same time, discussions are on for his 60th film as well.

Buzz in the industry is AR Murugadoss or SJ Suryah might direct the film.

When Sify.com asked AR Murugadoss, he denied such development but sources close to the director said “AR Murugadoss is having a script which is actually written for Salman Khan (Hindi) and Vijay (Tamil). But it is unclear which version he will be commenced first”.

Mean time, we also hear that SJ Suryah is said to be in talks with Ilayathalapathy Vijay and the director has reportedly narrated a one liner which has impressed the Thuppakki actor.

Vijay and SJ Suryah have already worked together for the blockbuster film Kushi. Later they were about to join for a film called ‘Puli’ which was dropped and later remade in Telugu with Pawan Kalyan.

Sources also say that Vijay is also in talks with many other promising directors and we will the exact name soon.

SJ Suryah to direct Vijay 60?




Speculations are wild that SJ Suryah, who delivered one of the all-time blockbusters for Vijay in Kushi, is the front-runner to directVijay 60. Sources say the duo discussed for a possible tie-up and things are looking rosy for the same. Meanwhile, AR Murugadoss, who was also one of the choices, is unlikely to take the helm since he is expected to direct a Hindi film next.


Vijay is currently busy with Atlee’s next for which the shooting is going on briskly. Whether Vijay will team up with SJ Suryah or not will be officially known as Vijay 59 passes midway through shooting.
