Salman Khan’s peppy track in ‘O Teri’
Salman Khan to don villain's cap in Dhoom 4?
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan may have a big surprise up his sleeve as he may be donning the bad boy's cap for the fourth franchise of the blockbuster 'Dhoom' series.
After breaking all records at the box-office, Aamir Khan's 'Dhoom 3' was definitely one of the highlights of 2013. Now the latest news doing the rounds is that Aamir's buddy Salman may be roped in to play the part of a villain in the fourth franchise.
The antagonist in the Dhoom series has always garnered more attention than any other character. After playing a villain for the first time on screen, Aamir must have definitely inspired Sallu bhai to give it a shot too.
Before Aamir, Hrithik Roshan and John Abraham had played the antagonists in the second and first Dhoom movies respectively.
Salman Khan fans to see double in 2015!
According to reports, Salman will be playing double roles in two of his films: Anees Bazmee's No Entry Mein Entry, and Sooraj Barjatya's Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.
In fact, the last time he let his fans feast on such a double dhamaka was back in 1997 in Judwaa. Apparently, he even said that he'd only do a double role once Judwaa's sequel was in the makes. Turns out, he couldn't wait, and his fans can't either.
Speaking of No Entry Mein Entry and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, he's reportedly even had a word with the respective directors to keep his looks in both films different. But be that as it may, the filmmakers aren't breaking a sweat since they claim their respective movie-making styles are quite different.
And coming to scenes in the movie, Salman apparently fears that his fans may have too much of him which is why he's also made this request: to not be shown in each frame. We're sure his fans would disagree.
Being Filmy
Actor Salman Khan has announced the launch of a new, non-profit based production house named Being Filmy, which follows the name of his charitable organisation, Being Human. Since the actor is very keen on taking his charitable causes a notch above, he decided to give this idea a push. “I think small films have great content and they deserve to be given a decent platform. To support this cause, I have decided to produce films under my banner, Being Filmy. These films will be small, but instead of concentrating on profit, we will aim at giving it a proper release,” stated Khan. The first film from this stable, which is yet untitled, is slated to go on the floors by June-July and should hit the screens by end of this year. The most interesting part about the ventures that he plans to produce is that after subtracting the taxes and costs, the entire profit will be donated to charitable causes. “It will be like providing entertainment with tons of positivity surrounding it,” added Khan.
