the book on which nolan's masterpiece is based. but the book and the movie are 2 entirely different affairs. 2 magicians, their never ending rivalry, one uses a twin, the other uses teslas machine. ithrayee similarity ullu. book leads upto 4 generations of the two. cinemayil ninn extra aayittula portion is deeply disturbing and haunting.

i dont know if the author has succeeded in keeping the secret intact till the end like nolan have, coz all throughout the read i knew what was going on and a small confusion in the narrative could actually mean. but one thing i know is that i have been reading till 3 am, and i couldnt sleep after the read was over. death, life, horror, existence angane kuree surreal aanu novelnte ending portions. vayich kazhiyumbo athokkeyee thalayil nikkullu. i have a feeling i enjoyed the book only because i have seen the movie beforehand...
