Coutinho CL adikkaan Liverpool vittu Barca yil poyi ....but
Can't remember a worst CL final like this ...tight competition with 2002-03 final between AC Milan and Juventus
Expectation was high as the final s between two English Teams and when Liverpool scored very early , thought it's going to be a one sided affair with Liverpool scoring three or four..but from there on wards...surprisingly.. it looks like Liverpool wants to end the game somehow , very untypical of Liverpool ...If Spurs have been clinical enough story might have been different
Of course we can't expect Liverpool to play every game with same intensity and menace still expected little better
This has been one of the greatest Champions League season for years ( Ajax's come back against Real and Juventus , Spurs heroics and above all Liverpool's comeback win against mighty Barca ) but the final failed to match it
There was not intention of playing high pressing game as the whole match panned out. May be a cautious approach. I don't think we were outplayed by Spurs ( no reason to believe a team who did that to Barca and Bayern etc can't play a good game, but there was no need after an early lead). Spurs with that much ball couldn't shoot at goal until 73rd minute shows what was the game plan. Of course towards the end a team going to loose is expected to give everything and most of their shots at goal came in that last couple of minutes of regular time and in injury time. But spurs really lacked some creativity in finishing. Most of them trying to shoot from outside box...
Final matters about winning and most beautiful finals of UCL were about come backs - it was Spurs to come back and if they did the game would have been then totally different.

It was the worst final I saw too..We didn't pass well at all...UEFA has to take some responsibility as well..3 week break after the league is poor timing...10 days would have produced a good game..But then I didn't really care..They never threatened us..we probably looked like scoring than them..

This win is dedicated especially to 'El Rata' and his Agent who played the most dirty tricks to derail last season...dancing to Barcelona's tune whilst being a Liverpool player...But no thanks to him..We got Van Dijk and Alisson with his fee..both tellingly were Liverpool's best players in the final.

Liverpool's plan defensive approach aayirunnu ennu thonnunnu...early goal kittiyathu kaaryanghal easy aakki...Spurs have to attack...and there is a threat of Liverpool counter-attack any time...Salah/Mane and the two wing backs will pouncing on any opportunity
rather than going through the middle Liverpool mostly depended on long balls...athinum kuttam parayaan pattilla...on paper they might be having the weakest midfield among Top teams
Liverpool were defending in numbers and Spurs forced to shoot from outside the box
Alisson was perfectly positioned for all the shots ...it's not the attack the defensive stability brings you titles...the combo of Van Dijk-Alisson has been excellnt throughout the season ...ini Ajax nte de Ligt ne koodi vaanghichu avide oru 'Netherlands' kotta paniyaruthu...give chance to others too
