Vishnuvardhan is gearing up to start his comeback venture in Kollywood, which will have Ajith playing the lead role. The director has roped in writer- duo Suba to pen the dialogues. Suresh and Balakrishnan, who write under the pen name Suba, are popular for their work in 'Ayan' and 'Ko'. They are now busy holding discussions with Vishnuvardhan to shape up the Ajith starrer. (May 1, the birthday of Ajith)
making their presence felt all
over, the actor has confirmed his
next project. "It will be directed
by Vishnuvardhan and produced
by A M Rathnam," he said.
Giving more details, the 'Thala'
said, "We plan to release the film
for Deepavali. Arya is also on
board I believe and quite like
Mankatha, I will be playing a role
of my age. A stylist will take care
of our looks in the movie."
Saying that he is eagerly looking
forward to work with
Vishnuvardhan, in whose
association he delivered a super
hit in 'Billa', Ajith says, "After
completing this film with
Vishnuvardhan, I will start my
next for Vijaya Productions, to be
directed by Siva (of 'Siruthai'
fame)."
On 'Billa 2', he says, "I don't
believe in boasting so much
about my films. Let the movie do
all the talking. All that I can say is
director Chakri Toleti has done a
good job. Like my fans, I am
waiting for its release."

Vishnuvardhan, in a television
interview yesterday revealed that
his next film with Ajith will go on
floor in two weeks’ time. He
refused to disclose the title of the
film reasoning that, even the title
of the film must have a mass
opening.
This untitled film will have Arya,
who earlier worked with the
director in Sarvam, doing the role
of the bad guy. Nayanthara has
been roped in to do the lead lady
of the film. Yuvan Shankar Raja
will compose music for this
project.

Veteran producer AM Ratnam is
all set to launch his new Ajith
film, riding on the Billa 2 wave!
After the stupendous pre-
release all theatrical and other
rights sale of Billa 2, there is a
big buzz about Ajith. So, Ratnam
the smart marketing man that
he is, is all set to launch his new
film with the ‘ultimate star’ to be
directed by Vishnuvardhan.
The untitled Vishnuvardhan
directed film has Ajith,
Nayanthara and Arya in the lead
and music by Yuvan Shankar
Raja with camera by PS Vinod.
The film was originally slated to
go on the floors in March but
got delayed mainly because
Ratnam’s financiers were
getting their act together.
Now it is confirmed that the film
will start rolling by middle of
this month in Mumbai. In fact
Nayanthara had to opt out of
Jayam Ravi’s Boologam as this
film shoot got delayed.
There was no way Nayan could
give dates both to Ajith and Ravi
film, which are rolling around
the same time.
The market is abuzz that with
Ajith’s new star status, producer
AM Ratnam will be able to
market this film for Rs 50 Cr
plus.

Aijith’s next film in the pipeline is

Vishnuvardhan has not titled the
film yet and is busy assembling
his cast and crew. Vinod has
been signed up to crank the

will score the music. It is believed
that the shooting of this film will
commence later this month.

Things seem to be going on a fast track as far as the next film of Ajith is concerned. To be directed by Vishnuvardhan, the movie to be produced by A M Rathnam is expected to hit the floors next week.
"Vishnuvardhan has completed the script work, in association with writer duo Suba. Nayanthara will be the leading lady, while Arya will do the villain. A search is currently on for an apt title," say sources.
They add: "Everything will be finalised in a week's time and the cast and crew will start shooting from next week. Work on this project will be completed in three months, as plans are on to release it for Deepavali."
Yuvan Shankar Raja is expected to compose music for this yet-to-be-titled flick, which is going to be his third in a row for Ajith, after 'Mankatha' and 'Billa 2'. Meanwhile, 'Billa 2' is gearing up to hit the screens in the last week of this month.

Vishnuvardhan is all set to begin his multi-starrer with Ajith, Arya and Nayanthara this month. Pre-production work is almost done and the first look is expected soon. The latest to join this starry bandwagon is Taapsee. It is expected that Nayan and Taapsee will set the screen on fire with their glamor and sex appeal.
AM Rathnam and Sri Surya Movies will be producing this film. Even before this project has taken off from the starting line, it has generated truckloads of hype and hoopla thanks to the high octane cast. The makers are hoping to release this film for Diwali.
