01:40am IST Man City v Blackburn
that was the final I was expecting! anyways, Pelligrini might be good for EPL but a stage like CL team needs to have it in their genes to go till the end and that is something which City lacks at the moment; the decider is at Camp Nou; so the cards are in favor of Barca. for me, the game between Busquets/Toure and Xavi/Silva is what the game is all about. Busquets plays it close, Toure plays it inside and wide. Xavi is precise, Silva is quick and aggresive. frankly i like underdogs because the spirit of soccer is in their win. so, i want City to win. Toure's experience in Barca should come in useful. Navas and Negredo bring in their Sevilla days. Kompany should be able to hold Messi physically (definitely) and tactically. Aguerro should get past Pique. and the best thing, just love City's comebacks. hit them once, slam them twice, they can still be expected to atleast try to get up! but all this, against Barcelona don't know! Barca has been vulnerable this season but still find ways to win. City's remarkable win against Munchen has definitely pepped up the team. it has instilled a confidence. hope Pelligrini makes use of it! One thing definite: there will be goals, the two games won't be lame ducks!
even though the second leg is at home for Barca , I think first leg will be the decisive one , If City score some 2/3 without conceding means Barca will be under pressure at Home & more over Pellegrini very well know Barca ....yeah ...but first time up against Tata ..
I don't think it will be a tactical battle and expecting many goals too as you said..
Messi
Mascherano
Aguerro

MANCHESTER CITY - 5 - 0 - BLACKBURN ROVERS
FA CUP Third Round
All the strikers did their jobs. Negredo (2), Dzeko (2) and Aguerro too. Sad thing was it took the whole of first half for the first goal.
Next in line, Cardiff City in EPL (this weekend), West Ham in League Cup (Jan 21), Watford in FA Cup (Jan 25).
