Ohh really. In this forum itself somebody told me that the whole worldwide rate including G.C.C is only 30 lakhs to 60 lakhs. That is real peanuts when our films are making crores in G.C.C.
You are right. A good Malayalam film could collect more that 5 cr.
So altogether our superstar movies collect above 1 crore as overseas rights? 1 cr in G.C.C alone and around 30 lakhs outside G.C.C?

True 1 crore is too low. Simultaneous release was there for Varsham but stopped after that. I think producers are scared of piracy.
One week gap itself is fair enough like how it is for 'IDI'. Hardly 6 days after release in Kerala. Probably it is because it is Eros.
