Shankar to pick up Suriya or Ajith?
The Nanban team celebrated the fact
that they had completed shooting
successfully with a big bash at Hotel
Green Park. The entire cast and crew
were present for the event. Vijay,
Shankar, Jiiva, Srikanth, Harris Jayaraj were part of the festivities. A spirit of
fun and bonhomie pervaded the event. Everybody felt that they had made a
good film and were proud of their
collective effort. Vijay especially was
happy to have worked with Shankar
since he had been unable to work with
him in the past. His next film will be with AR Murugadoss it is said and shooting
will begin shortly. As for Shankar, he has worked with
practically all the big heroes who are
beloved to the people with the
exception of Suriya and Ajith. So it is
hoped that he will pick up one these
two for his next project.

Surya in Hindi remake of Paiya?
Sources say that Surya will soon re-
entry in Bollywood with remake of his
brother Karthi's Superhit film 'Paiya'.
Paiya was successful in Tamil with
Karthi and Tamanna in lead roles. The
movie was directed by Lingusamy. Paiya was remade in telugu as Awara. This project is not yet officially
confirmed. Let's wait for the official
confirmation.

Vikram-Suriya as Ram- Lakshman in a Ramayana movie
The ancient Sanskrit epic Ramayana is
making a return to the silver screen
with the instrumental Telugu director K
Raghavendra Rao attempting to
capture the events on celluloid. Rumor
has it that both Chiyaan Vikram and ‘namma’ Suriya will be coming together
for this offering playing Lord Rama and
Lakshmana in the Ramayana movie.
The project seems to be a big budget
one with actors from other prominent
industries entering fresh ground. The role of Raavanan will be played by
Telugu star Mohan Babu with the movie
touted to be a multi-star offering with a
good dose of Bollywood .Top
Bollywood heroes including Sanjay
Dutt, Ajay Devgn (the actor who starred in the Hindi remake of Suriya’s
Singham) and Vivek Oberoi are also
expected to fly down to Tolly country
playing crucial roles. Chiyaan Vikram
has every reason to smile with his
mentally challenged role in Deiva Thirumagal earning him top spot in 2
international festivals and with his next
movie Karikalan looking tailor made for
Chiyaan as a warrior, his career graph
seems to be ever rising .Suriya on the
other hand is looking forward to his 7aam Arivu audio launch with the
movie is expected to create a huge
impact with its medical thriller theme. Let’s keep our fingers crossed and
hope that the Pithamagan days are
back.

Vikram and Suriya in Ravana Mon Aug 29, 11:49 am
Tamil stars Vikram and Suriya are
going to appear as Ramlakshman in Mohan Babu’s upcoming film Ravana,
according to Tollywood grapevine. K Raghavendra Rao, the sculptor behind
historical and devotional flicks like Annamayya and Sriramadasu is
going to direct the film. Hero Vishnu Manchu is going to produce
the film. It’s learnt that the makers are planning to release the film
in all the Indian languages.
