Suvith has walked on the ramp for several leading brands. The young curly-haired star who bagged the Hairomax Healthy Hair award last year is all set to showcase his versatility in three Mollywood movies.
Starting with Anwar Rasheed’s Ustad Hotel, Suvith will be seen in a song sequence in Nithya Menon’s Band and will act as a keyboardist. “It’s all thanks to the social networking sites,” says the star as it was through Facebook that Anwar Rasheed contacted him and gave him a role in his movie.
He will be seen in Bachelor’s Party where he will play the villain’s aid and also play a journalist in the film Laura directed by Vineeth Nair and Rahul Dev. He is now keen about making a mark in the field of glitz and glam.

Adultery and the ‘other woman’ were subjects spoken about in hushed tones behind closed doors or after the children were put to sleep!
Then the channel explosion came about and the truth couldn't be hidden anymore. Mollywood didn't shy away either and showcased it, especially with the advent of young film-makers who brought with them fresh and bold approaches in scripts and storylines.
The list of films portraying adultery and the other woman angle in the recent past are Traffic, City Of God, Cocktail, Happy Husbands and now Unnam.
Talk about the other woman and the first name that comes to mind is Rima Kallingal who has often been the vamp or the cheating wife. The second would be Remya Nambeesan who put forth a convincing performance of an adulteress in Traffic.
Rima, who looked ravishing in a pink flowery top and dark Capri, laughs when asked about her vamp image "For a change, I am playing the wife in Husbands in Goa, so I have been granted a promotion from the 'other woman' to the wife!
Subjects like adultery have always been a part of the society; and at one point, Malayalam cinema did talk about it extensively, and then we went into a period of hibernation where we didn't even look at the grey side of human nature. Right now, we are again revisiting realistic themes and portrayals, which is why this subject has popped up again.”
Saji, director of the hit Happy Husbands and the upcoming Husbands in Goa which will showcase pleasure-seeking husbands in a humorous vein, says, "In this society, the audience loves to see men in a naughty light which also adds to the film’s entertainment value.
A comedy film tackles a taboo subject about the society but the theme is wrapped in humor to make it readily acceptable to the audience, rather than turning it into a highly charged, emotional film dealing with the same subject.”
Cocktail was another such path-breaking movie. Director Arun Kumar opines, “I wanted to bring out reality. This wanting, extramarital instinct is there in every man or woman, and I wanted to highlight that aspect of a relationship.”
Adds Remya Nambeesan, “Extramarital relationships are being showcased a lot, be it here or across other industries.
To a certain extent, it helps bring awareness about such things, and there is no point sweeping them under the carpet." In direct contrast is the innocent-looking Bhama who has played the dutiful or sacrificing wife in most of her movies.
She muses, "Generations have changed, and what is good for the 70’s is not what is reality in 2012. Cinema too has adapted to that change and portrayed the society, situations, and men and women of today.” Truly, cinema is a reflection of the society!
