When the actor, whose visit to the hospital coincided with Children’s Day, was told that Chery Sancheti is suffering from a congenital hearing impairment, he promptly offered her a flying kiss and his cheque book to fund her corrective surgery.

Sonakshi Sinha is ready for an exciting UAE cricket outing. The ‘Dabangg’ actress has taken up the role of brand ambassador for Mumbai Heroes very seriously.
“Everybody needs some lady luck on their side, that’s where we come in. Hopefully this season we will bring bigger and better luck for the Mumbai Heroes,” said Sonakshi.
Along with co-star Salman Khan, Sonakshi revealed plans of Celebrity Cricket League season 2 in Sharjah when the stars were in Dubai in mid-November. Mumbai Heroes will host their home matches in Sharjah cricket stadium. As a brand ambassador of Mumbai Heroes, Sonakshi is joined by Kangana Ranaut and Genelia D’souza.
Talking to Emirates 24|7, Sonakshi said, “Last time it was a pleasure to watch them play and being a part of it. It was lot of fun. And this time I just wish our team lots of luck.”
Wearing a sports jersey, blue jeans and a lovely smile, Sonakshi Sinha had all eyes on her.
Sonakshi’s friendliness wasn’t restricted to her celeb friends; she was just as pleasant chatting with Emirates 24|7.
Talking about actresses playing cricket, “I don’t know if the female actors can come on the field and dive and fall and bear the bruises, but if the organisers have any such plan it will be nice”.
The star went on chatting without any starry tantrums. “If the organisers cannot host a cricket match for actresses I don’t mind playing other sports.”
“I love swimming. Hand ball or net ball as popularly known is a great sport.”
“But as of now I will love to be on the stands and cheer the loudest for my team.”
