RAJSHRI ENTERS M’WOOD

Sandalwood beauty Rajshri Ponnappa is making her entry in Mollywood. She will be seen in Deepesh’s Pithavinum Puthranum Parishudhathmavinum. “It’s a very unusual script. I’ve never read anything similar so far. I was in tears listening to the climax,” says Rajshri. She will be seen essaying the role of a nun in this movie.
The actress, who speaks four languages will be dubbing for this movie. “I don’t think language will be a problem for me. So I decided to dub for it myself.”

Nishan back in M-Town



Nishan, who was last seen in Ee Adutha Kalathu, will next be seen in Rajesh Pillai’s debut, Annum Innum Ennum. The actor, who is based in Mumbai, visits Kerala for his work. In Annum Innum Ennum, Nishan plays a guy who runs an ad film agency.
“I play a smart and charming guy. It’s an interesting character; a happy-go-lucky fellow called Ro,” he says. So, has he become typecast as the soft spoken charmer? “Oh no, unlike my earlier movie, where I play a negative character; this one is positive,” he says.
“The film is all about relationships but I’m not paired with anyone as such. I’m looking forward to working in Malayalam again,” says the youngster, who is currently busy shooting for Shaitan fame Bejoy Nambiar’s David.

Thilakan’s unique role

Veteran actor Thilakan will soon be in the news for something other than his controversial statements. The actor will play a transgender in Ardhanarishwaran, a film about the lives of transgenders. Details of the film are yet to be revealed, but the actor confirmed that he will be playing the role, which is going to be quite a challenging one.
Besides his next release Usthad Hotel, Thilakan will also be part of Kunchacko Boban-starrer God for Sale, to be scripted and directed by Babu Janardanan. The actor seems to have finally got out of his self-imposed exile and says he always knew that ‘’truth will prevail.’’
