2 cases againt Sun Pictures Saxena withdraw

A couple of film distributors who had filed complaints of cheating against Sun Pictures Chief Operating Officer Hansraj Saxena, reportedly withdrew their cases on Tuesday, stating that they had entered into a compromise with Sun Pictures.
Distributors T S Selvaraj and Shanmugavelu, who were the first to come out in open against the film production and distribution arm of the Sun TV Network, filed petitions on Tuesday at the Madras High Court, seeking to withdraw their complaints
However, Saxena faces three other cases. The police arrested Saxena on July 3 on a complaint from Selvaraj, who accused Saxena of cheating him of Rs.82.53 lakh over distribution rights of 'Theeratha Vilayattu Pillai' after reportedly promising to pay him Rs.1.25 crore.
The police arrested Saxena in another case after Shanmugavelu, another film distributor from Salem, complained to the police that Saxena, his associate Ayyappan and three others assaulted him after a misunderstanding over the distribution of the film.

Dhanush’s wife Aishwarya will be wielding the megaphone for the first time and the national award winning star will be directed by his wife. Excited about this new film, Dhanush has said that all the details such as the title, star cast and crew will be disclosed shortly. Apart from this film, Dhanush has the tentatively titled Irandam Ulagam, which is directed by his brother Selvaraghavan. The movie is in the final stages, he has revealed. We wish the actor a very happy birthday and successful year!
Mysskin and Jiiva work it out
Mugamoodi will be launched during the first week of September, say credible sources in Kollywood. The film will be produced by UTV Motion Pictures and Mysskin will be wielding the megaphone for it. It is a super hero subject that will have Jiiva playing the lead role and Narain as the baddie. A discussion pertaining to this film happened very recently and the ball has been set rolling. Earlier Mysskin had narrated this script to Suriya, Vishal and Arya but none of these heroes could take up the project for various reasons and finally Jiiva bagged the offer. Mugamoodi will commence in September this year and plans are on to release the movie on May 1st next year.

Today is July 28, and Dhanush celebrates his 28th birthday today.
And the big news is that he is starting his new untitled film today which will be directed by his wife Aishwarya.
Dhanush is in an enviable position today. He is the youngest ever actor who has bagged the prestigious national award in the 'Best Actor' category for Aadukalam.
However his media image is that of a person who is 'forlorn, distant and withdrawn'. This is the image that Dhanush has also with colleagues in the industry.
But his close friends vouch that he is funny, charming and very engaging. He dotes on his wife Aishwarya and sons Yatra and Linga, around whom his life revolves.
Aishwarya's film will most probably have Sruthi Haasan in the lead though no official confirmation has been announced.
Music is by a debutant while camera is by Velraj. A song was recorded on Wednesday,which was sung by Vijay Yesudas and Shweta Mohan.
So what are the birthday plans for the actor? He will be shooting today in and around Chennai and a quiet family get-together in the night.
He will be meeting his fans on Friday and spending time with them, says his media manager.

Anupam Kher and his Actor Prepares school are famous and have been in existence for over five years and produced a lot of actors for the television and cinema world.
Said Anupam Kher: "I have done over 400 films, but it was tough learning the nuances of acting when I came to the industry. But for today's generation there is no time to make mistakes, as competition
is tough."
The collaboration between Kher and Radhika will make it one of the best schools to learn the nuances of acting.
And it will also provide a chance for actors to debut on television and cinema as Radhika is a leading content provider. Sarath Kumar was also present at the meet.

Bharath a promising young actor is peeved with the raw deal he got doing Krish directed Vaanam.
In an interview to a Tamil publication, Bharath has blasted STR for hogging the show and cutting his role!
Says Bharath: "I had a very bad experience doing Vaanam. It was started as a multi starrer and with equal footage for all the four principal characters in the film. But by the time the film was
released only one character was highlighted. It was promoted as a solo hero film. Now I have got wiser and will think twice before jumping into a multi –starrer."

It looks like Aadi discount sales this Friday at the Tamil Nadu box-office!
Four Tamil films are releasing on July 29, in the month of Aadi considered to be inauspicious by the superstitious industry.
Most of these films were in the box waiting to be sold and also trying to get playing time in theatres.
And with no big releases during Aadi, this is the best chance for these small films to get a theatrical release.
The four films are- Bodinaykur Ganesan, where choreographer turned action hero Hari Kumar tries his luck again. Karungali is another action cum titillating masala stuff.
Markendyan is the launch film of Sabarish, son of action director FEFSI Vijayan.
Veppam is lady director Anjana's debut film as director produced by Gautham Menon and features Nani, Karthik Kumar and Nithya Menen.
All these films have announced their theatre listings which include multiplexes.
Asks trade expert Sekhar : "None of these films have any sort of publicity, hardly any buzz about them. The audiences themselves are confused about these films and all of them seem to be in the action genre.
