Merseyside Derby made my day! After two weeks of international break, comes a game straightway down the tunnel like this one.
Both teams had decent enough chances to win the game. Allen made a mess of that simple goal which he missed. Apparently, Rodgers compared him to Xavi last season labelling him as "Welsh Xavi". I think Rodgers chose a wrong team. Moses should have played instead of Allen which would have placed Coutinho in the centre. Allen didn't offer anything special in the game.

Overall, a good game. Everton's defence conceded the first goal after 3 PL games. Suarez with his 9th goal in just 7 games.

Allen was called Welsh Xavi..coz he was having one hell of a season last time...He was easily Liverpool's best player in first 3-4 months..When he made that comment it didn't actually look out of place..but once he got injured it has gone all wrong for Allen..but I still back Allen to come back..imo he is too good a player to continue on the side lines..

I think Gerrard backed J.Cole to bring the same magic that Messi brings to the table..That was truly a world class joke..:lol:
