Man United payed the price for being incompetent in the 1st leg. The 1st half was amazing by Man United. We conntrolled the game totally..
One moment of stupid defending from Carrick, and the Germans got their lifeline..
Anyway, it was a game that should never have been lost..
Everybody is blaming Rafael's immaturity , but actually the blame goes to Michael Carrick. Its really hard to take this defeat , before the game Bayern were the favourites but after going (3-0) up in a sensational first half....after that all of a sudden...Carrick was outmuscled by Olic and we conceded a cheak goal....that was the major major turning point....Rafael's second yellow was debatable...Ribery pressurizing the "YOUNG" Italian Referee ( For a game of this magnitude UEFA should appoint a more experienced referee ) to give Rafael the second yellow. It was all Man Utd in the first half , Bayern were not really in it..but after that goal..everything changed....and after the Sending-Off it was all Bayern...BAYERN STARTED TO GET POSSESSION ONLY AFTER UNITED WERE DOWN TO 10 MEN. VAN BUYTEN's FOUL WAS CLEARLY AIMED AT ROONEY'S INJURED LEG. The Second goal or the Wonder goal from Arjen Robben...came from another mistake from Carrick that led to a Corner. raphels sending off is 100% right ...it was a counter attack and he committed a cynical foul and in cl terms its clearly a 2nd yellow and a sending off....maybe ribery should have booked also for showing imaginary yellow card.....

For me Carrick is as guilty as Rafael who was good till that point..
Carrick had the chance to put that ball headed away , instead he tried to outmuscle OLIC and paid the price. Carrick gave away the possession in the Center that lead to the Corner and goal. Carrick is not at all good in Keeping the ball ( Like most of the English Footballer's :mrgreen: ) his main ability is passing and he sometimes called as a pass master.
