But Berlusconi has lost his interest in the team it seems...he should either sell them or invest....otherwise they will fall short of Inter again!!!

FLORENTINO PEREZ: "Milan and Real are the history of football"
5/31/2010
MILAN - Here's what Real Madrid president Florentino Perez said after the Real Madrid Veteranos-Milan Glorie match which was held in front of a sold-out Santiago Bernabeu: "The Real and Milan legends, will never stop playing for the Madrid fans, they are as beloved today as they were when they were playing. Between us and Milan there's a great friendship, Real and Milan have 16 European Cups, these two teams are the history of European football."
Real have won the coveted trophy
50s
56, 57, 58, 59 (AC Milan never won. Real had a dream team at theat time comprsing Destafano & Puskas. Besides there were other prominent European teams which went into oblivion later on.. )
60s
60, 66 (AC Milan twice)
90s
98 (AC Milan twice when they had their best team)
post 2000
2000, 2002 (AC Milan twice)
So how come AC Milan is greater ???:hypo: .. Just because they won it twice in 90s...:saddam:
Athu thanneya paranjathu , Ellaa Leagum oru paadu munpe thudanghiyenkilum European Cup enna ashayam valare vaiki alle thudanghunnathu , athu thudanghiya time Real adipoli team aayirunnu , baakki ulla teams thudakkathil athu athra serious aayi edutho ennullathu samshayam aanu. Apart from 1957-58 final , Real Madrid met seemingly unknown teams and that team's didn't reach anywhere after that.
1955-56 : Real Madrid v Reims (4-3)
1956-57 : Real Madrid v Fiorentina (2-0)
1958-59 : Real Madrid v Reims (2-0)
1959-60 : Real Madrid v Eintracht (7-3)
This shows what ?
YES ITS TRUE THAT THEY HAD A GREAT TEAM IN 50's , BUT 1965-66 IL CUP EDUTHATHINU SHESHAM PINNE CUP ADIKKUNNATHU 1997-98 il AANU.

All great teams had their golden periods..(Liverpool, AC MIlan, Ajax for a shorrt period). Real had it in the late 50s.. Real had a fantastic team then.. I dont think its reason enuf to undermine their achievement.. The way they played footbal then was just dream stuff..
When ur good, u have to reap max rewards.. In that respect I believe Real deserves to be called the bench mark.. Man Utd had a great team as well in the late 60s.. but they never managed to reach the level expected of them (i know that it is partly due to the plane crash, but still..)
Madrid's glory years were decades and decades ago....While Milan's is recent...
Milan is class and loved by all..But Madrid is somewhat hated by neutral fans around the world...
Players go to Madrid for money...They join Milan to play with passion..
95% of the great players once switched to Madrid were below par ...There is something really wrong with Madrid...The club is a retirement home for many great players..But Once they leave Madrid they start playing better again..
We are talking about the history.. whether its decades ago or in the recent past, achievements always remain intact.. MIlan has been poor in the recent years.. SO does it undermine their glory??
All players love to play for Maadrid.. Its becos of their history.. They like to associate thier name with the greatest club as accepted by most, even FIFA..
And ur suggestion of joining Milan for passionis a joke.. Why Ronaldhino left Barca?? Is it becos he had no passion @ BArca?/ Beckham?? :thumbdown1:
