Hmm..i think it is reasonable...in TN, cost is around 1L+ per day. Some one i know was admitted for around 60 days (including 2-3 weeks i n Ventilator), hospital charged around 65L. Hospital was not allowing them to discharge without paying the whole amount when he got little better (but he still was not able to walk, eat properly and breathe without oxygen. It took more than 3 months to remove his oxygen, walk 10 steps without help and eat on his own). For another person hospital said cost will be 1L+ per day, so family had to take him out of ICU after few days because they didn't have enough money. He died days later.Quote:
