Arrambam - Overseas Box Office Opening
UK - Arrambam grossed Rs. 1.34 Crore (£135,223) during
the opening long weekend (Thu £34,831, Fri £29,868, Sat
£40,223, Sun £30,301) Arrambam has cruised past
Mankatha's collection of £110,000 for the opening
weekend record set for Ajith starrers.
USA - Arrambam's 5 day opening is reported to have
collected a total of $330,615 from 73 screens including
preview shows on Wednesday. The per screen average
working out to $4529. The cumulative collection of
Arrambam is highest in Ajith's career so far. For 2013,
Arrambam is second highest after Vishwaroopam. Last
Diwali, Thuppaki had collected $362,000 from 6 day
opening as per North America distributor sources(ATMUS) .
Australia - Arrambam collected almost Rs.33 Lacs (A$
55,953) in 3 days ( Thu A$ 11,616, Fri A$ 11,850, Sat A$
19,355). The collections are in line with other recently
released Tamil movies.
