Factors that are unique to #Arrambam BO in TN.. Since #Arrambam released on a non- festive wk day, the special shows were not taken into a/c!
#AAA tanked from da very 1st show.. So many theater owners quietly changed it to #Arrambam even tho da posters & ads said #AAA was playing..
#Arrambam on Nov 8th played on more number of scrns than Nov 2nd.. So da method of progressive decline for BO is not applicable in its case!
Shahrukh Khan loves Ajith's Arrambam

Bollywood Baadshah Shahrukh Khan who is currently
shooting for his upcoming flick 'Happy New Year'
caught up with director Vishnuvardhan who was the
associate of Santosh Sivan while Shahrukh was doing
'Ashoka' in 2001 which also had Ajith doing a small role
in the film. The Bollywood star spent some time with the
director remebering the 'Asoka' days and also mentioned
that he had loved the trailer of Ajith starrer 'Arrambam'
though he hasnt watched the film yet.
Director Vishnuvardhan tweeted after meeting the star
"Met up with SRK, loved catching up and remembering
'Asoka' days. He loved the 'Arrambam' trailer. Cheers
guys."
While a lot of 'Arrambam ' was shot in Mumbai, the
director was often seen in Mumbai. With the movie
released and running successfully in the theatres, one
wonders why Vishnuvardhan is still visiting Mumbai
often. Is the director's next a bollywood flick with a
top star?

The buzz about Akshay Kumar expressing an interest to remake
Ajith's latest hit, Arrambam has been doing the rounds for quite some time now. Now, we hear that Prabhu Deva might be wielding the megaphone for this remake. Prabhu Deva has always shined in handling remakes as evidenced with movies such as Wanted, Rowdy Rathore in Hindi and Pokkiri in Tamil.
Prabhu Deva has also apparently expressed a big interest
to direct Ajith himself, in a straight Tamil movie. But before
that, he intends to successfully direct this remake and then
proceed with his plans of doing one with Thala. An official
clarification is awaited in this regard to clear the air.
Prabhu Deva is currently waiting for the release of R...
Rajkumar with Shahid Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha while
Akshay Kumar is busy with movies such as Holiday, Its
Entertainment to name a few.

Akshay Kumar has a keen eye for South Indian hits, and
ensures that the gala reaches the non-Tamil speaking
masses. Having already taken 'Siruthai', 'Ramana' and the
likes to the Bollywood audience, Akshay's eyes are now on
the recent blockbuster, 'Arrambam'.
While the actor already evinced interest in taking up the
protagonist's role in the film's remake, the picture has
cleared out a bit more now, as we hear that Prabhu Dheva
is likely to helm the remake project. Post their association
in the remake of 'Siruthai', 'Rowdy Rathore', there is a lot
of optimism about this project. If everything falls in place,
the film is likely to go on the floors in 2014. More on
'Arrambam' remake is awaited.
