Riteish Deshmukh does a Salman Khan?
If you thought that only actor Salman Khan could ride a rickshaw, then here's some news. According to sources, actor Riteish Deshmukh too recently rode one. But while Salman reportedly had friend Katrina Kaif, as his passenger, Riteish had a local for a passenger who mistook him for a real rickshaw-wallah. Elaborating on what really happened a source reveals that the incident happened on the sets of Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya, where Riteish was required to ride a rickshaw for a certain sequence.
"Just to get a hang of it, Riteish decided to venture further away from the sets in disguise. He had barely left, when a man waved him down and sat in a hurry directing to his destination. Since it was nearby, even Riteish played along and dropped him off. It was only when he refused to take the money that the man realised that it was Riteish Deshmukh. After he got over the shock of being driven around by an actor, he apologised profusely, but Riteish took it good-heartedly," says the source.
"Of course, when we found out about it, everyone joked about it all day. In fact, Genelia (co-star Genelia D'Souza) even insisted on him taking her for a ride in the rickshaw as well and Riteish was more than happy to oblige," added another insider from the sets.

The sexy ladies in ‘Ladies vs Ricky Bahl’
Ranveer Singh is showered with truckloads of adulation as he successfully shows off his boyish charm in the peppy number Aadat se Majboor in his new film, Ladies vs Ricky Bahl. But since the whole package is incomplete without the ladies themselves, we give the protagonist Ricky Bahl a break for some time, till he replenishes his infectious energy, and focus on the girls for a welcome change
As the women and Ranveer the Casanova slug it out, we try and decode the style statement of the sexy babes and what exactly it says about their personalities…
Anushka Sharma
The leggy babe depicts the spirit of Mumbai as she dances with the dabbawallas and grooves on the railway tracks with great passion and vigour. Mostly seen in casual and bright outfits, looks like Anushka has yet again stepped onto the shoes of a fierce, no-nonsense girl, just as she did in Band Baaja Baaraat. The gal is seen in funky pink pants and a yellow sleeveless T-shirt in the new song ‘Jasba’ from Ladies vs Ricky Bahl. She’s dancing like no one’s watching and carries off her clothes with a great amount of ease and comfort, which in a way says a lot about her footloose and carefree character…in the movie, of course!
Dipannita Sharma
A snooty businesswoman or entrepreneur or perhaps a chick from the disciplined corporate world, that’s what Deepanita’s clothes say about her. Formal trousers teamed with a full sleeved shirt gives the actor a hard-core career-woman look. Perhaps a workaholic who acts as per a rigid timetable – that’s what we believe the sexy babe’s role in the movie could be.
Parineeti Chopra
Parineeti’s outfit matches the style of a casual college going girl or a regular young working woman. Let’s see how this girl next door charms Ranveer, or how he swindles her. Well, we get to know more only after the movie releases.
Aditi Sharma
Quite a prominent face in the world of advertisements Aditi Sharma, who started her career with Mausam, is all set to play a small town girl in Yashraj’s new movie. She is seen in a traditional salwar kameez with chikan embroidery, which is a specialty of Lucknow. Choosing Kolhapuri wedges as her footwear, Aditi does half the job of convincing us that she’s the perfect choice for the role with her ethnic ensemble. The other half…after the movie is released, yeah!

Ra.One effect: Loot, Miley Naa Miley Hum open to poor collection at Box Office
This week witnessed the release of two Bollywood movies like Loot and Miley Naa Miley Hum. Both films had a poor collection at the Box Office. Trade analysts think that their business was affected by the previous week's release Ra.One, which has continued to good earning.
The movie Loot, which is the comeback film of comedian Govinda, was expected to do well in the Box Office. But it opened to dismal houses across the country. It has received occupancy from 15% to 20% at single screens, which is little better in comparison to Miley Naa Miley Hum.
Miley Naa Miley Hum features newcomer Chirag Paswan, who is son of Ram Vilas Paswan. Although the film had received fare reviews from the critics, it got a very low response with its occupancy ranging from 5% to 10% at single screens.
Meanwhile, Ra.One continued to dominate the box-office in the second weekend. Although its collection was better than the new releases, its business dipped drastically on Friday. However, Ra.One has recovered its production cost in the first week and is now running in profit, but new releases like Loot and Miley Naa Miley Hum will have to do very well in the coming days to recover their cost of making.

'I am not a superstar to get a release on Eid, Diwali or Christmas'
Ranbir Kapoor wants to play humble and being honest. Even as euphoria continues to build around 'Rockstar' and one waits to see whether the young actor along with director Imtiaz Ali indeed manage to create the kind of magic on screen which is expected out of them, Ranbir is willing to acknowledge that he is not (yet) a superstar that some around him want him to believe. This stems from the fact that he is still awaiting a fixed slot for arrival of his films on festive occasions, something that the top superstars in Bollywood have already staked their claim on.
“Salman Khan has made Eid his own and next year with 'Ek Tha Tiger' he would make it four in a row after 'Wanted', 'Dabangg' and 'Bodyguard'. Aamir Khan always likes to reserve Christmas for him ('Taare Zameen Par', 'Ghajini', '3 Idiots'). Shahrukh Khan has a Diwali fixation (this year it was 'RA.One' while next year it would be Yash Chopra's yet untitled version). Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty like coming on Diwali as well (case in point being their last two 'Golmaal' installments and 'All The Best') while Akshay Kumar too aspires for Diwali or Christmas,” says a trade expert.
“A superstar status is pretty much established from this very fact that audience expect your film to arrive at a certain expected date.”
Though this can be pretty much expected from veterans, of late even youngsters have started picking and choosing their lucky arrival timelines. This is most evident in case of Imran Khan and Anushka Sharma who are pretty much hand picking a date and getting it too.
