│Prakash Raj: Bollywood's busy villain│
Looks like Prakash Raj is all set to storm the Hindi film industry with his power-packed performance. The popular south Indian actor-producer-director is currently part of three promising Bollywood projects.
He is playing the villain in 'Dabangg 2', a sequel to one of the biggest blockbusters of the recent times. Prakash Raj is part of 'Rowdy Rathore' the Hindi remake of Tamil hit 'Siruthai'. He will also be seen in the remake of Amitabh Bachchan classic, 'Zanjeer'.
'Zanjeer' will be directed by Apoorva Lakhia simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu and it will have Chiranjeevi's son Ramcharan Teja in the lead role. "I'm playing the role essayed by the iconic Ajith in the original," says Prakash Raj.
On 'Dabangg 2', he says, "I am having a great time on the sets of the film. The sequel is 10 times more powerful than Dabangg. Everyone will love it." Prakash Raj is confident that 'Rowdy Rathore' will also make it big.
Emraan Hashmi skips Kangna's birthday bash
A source tells us that Kangna did miss Emraan Hashmi at her party. Now, before you get any ideas, remember that she made her debut opposite him in Gangster six years ago. However, Hashmi was tired after the day-long shoot and opted to stay at home. More so because it was his 33rd birthday on Saturday. And he decided to bring it in in the company of his wife Parveen, son Ayaan and family.
Priyanka bonds with Kangna at her birthday bash
Considering that Priyanka Chopra is not known to be close to any female Bollywood star, her bonding with Kangna Ranaut at the latter's 25th birthday bash on Friday did raise eyebrows. As soon as PC entered the venue, she cooed and went muah- muah with Kangs. Considering the two starred together in Fashion and will be seen again in Krissh's sequel, the duo did not get their claws out at each other.

A little birdie chirped to say Ameesha Patel, her good friend Kuunal Goomer and his wife were spotted at an Andheri multiplex watching Saif Ali Khan's new spy thriller. Ameesha, who was dressed rather casually in a pink T-shirt and grey track pants and her face scrubbed clean of make-up, held hands with Mrs Goomer throughout the evening.
During the interval, Kuunal was seen queuing up at the food counter for snacks, while the two ladies chatted away in their seats. Ameesha even obliged a few of her fans who requested photo-ops with her.
Ra One animator Charu Khandal in critical condition
Charu Khandal, the brain behind the National Award winning special effects in Shahrukh Khan’s Ra One, is battling for her life at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital in Mumbai.
The 28 year old animator had thrown a party for her family and friends to celebrate the National Award win. But the night ended on a tragic note. She is now in critical condition and the doctors say she’ll be permanently crippled even if she does survive.
The unfortunate accident happened when Charu was returning back in an auto-rickshaw after dinner at 1 am. She was with her sister Ritu and a close friend Goyal, when a speeding Honda City rammed into the rickshaw in Oshiwara, Mumbai. Charu Khandal has multiple fractures in her head, ribs, spine, neck and legs. Goyal who was also in coma has now regained consciousness, but is still undergoing treatment.
