thankfully watched all movies except Beautiful..

Urumi was visually appealing (felt like they tried to do a desi version of 300) but execution wise not up to the standard expected.. What cud have been a milestone ended up as a brave attempt alone..

I would include Chappa Kurush for bringing in a new age approach and succeeding to a large extent. Performances also were inspiring.

Indian Rupee, content wise was vintage Renjith stuff.. If he had concentrated a bit more on a proper climax, it cud have been more memorable. And I do not buy the theory that THilakan was better than Prithvi. I felt Prithvi had given his career best in this movie and it was his performance that lifted the movie a notch abv..

But a very brave attempt to say the least. Just my opinion..
Ya and i never meant that PR was secondary in IR if it felt so. Both were equally good in their space. Urumi yes cud have been rivetting.. And cud have ended right below Traffic but was lots of potential unfulfilled.

The idea was really good. But see the meandering of the investigation which happens during the trail.. All that cant be shown effectively as everything stays in the same room. Actors have to give some knock out peformances to keep holding you... SG's some dialogues were like why is he saying this speech... yawn. KK who was pivotal lost control on his performance.. may times...Parthipan was superb to say the least. But a very different attempt. Better direction and actors could have stolen the show.

theres a hindi film with same plot....shourya.....i liked the execution there....but climax is better in melvilasam....
