Diwali 2011 is turning out to be Kollywoods biggest ever in recent times.
Three major stars- Vijay with Velayudham , Suriyas 7aum Arivu and Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan with his dubbed RA. One in 3D are fighting for the Tamil Nadu festival box-office.
It cannot get bigger than this, as all the three are trying to get as many screens as possible. The final theatre listing on Diwali day (October 26) will reveal who gets the maximum screens and premium shows in multiplexes. Till then no multiplex or complex is willing to announce their programming.
Udhayanidhi Stalin sprung a surprise, when he announced that his 7aum Arivu will open on Tuesday evening (October 25) with paid premieres in Chennai city and suburbs. Paid premiere concept is something new to Tamil films, very popular in Bollywood for eagerly awaited movies.

Tickets for these paid premieres were sold out within a few minutes after it was announced.
Meanwhile Velayudham advance booking is yet to start. The buzz is that the advance booking in Chennai and suburbs will start from Sunday (Oct 23). There is a tremendous support for the film, as Vijay fans are going all out to ensure a big opening for the film.
SRKs RA.One booking is also going to start on Sunday, as per sources close to the distributors of the film. They are still trying to get more screens all over Tamil Nadu.
