Maicon was interested, but Madrid really dont need him. they have Ramos in that position...Inter needs to buy some young players..the back four are ageing.

Ramos is not that great ...Most of the goals conceded /free kicks concede will have a Ramos influence...He's not that great inatacking either..no end product really!!!But he's young and might become a good or great player in the future!! Mourinho actually wanted to shift Ramos to the CB position and get Maicon as RB ..Once the deal fell through he tried to get T.silva from Milan as CB ..That did not materialise...That's when R.Carvalho was purchased from Chelsea...So far it seems Carvalho doing great......

Inter is the most hated (?) team in Italy I think....So whoever come's at the helm will not be free of criticism. Benitez vannathodu koodi Inter nte kaaryathil oru theerumaanam aayi.

Watched Lazio clip..Hernanes is not as quick as Pato, but very skilled player...Hernanes, Pato, Neymer, COutinho..Brazil seems to be getting ready for the home world cup

I think there are only 2 Brazilian players who were successfull in England...
One is Juninho with Middlesborough and Gilberto Silva with Gunners...Otherwise nobody could adjust with the cold climate or English Football...
There are Brazilian players playing in other leagues who always performed well against English teams in CL ...may be because of the space available to them ...

Hernanes's actual position is a deep lying playmaker just like Pirlo ..He was considered as a natural successor to Pirlo ..He was not as successfull with Sao Polo in the no-10 role as he was with deep lying playmaker role..
In Lazio he's playing as a trequista kind of role ..For now he's doing great ..we have to wait and see how far he goes ....

Brazil is producing a lot of attacking midfeilders and CBs now a days ..But they lack quality strikers...Pato is good but is not consistent and injury prone.Nilmar has atttitude problem and is not strong enough to be a world class striker.
On the other hand Argentina has lots of strikers...But they lag behind in othe rareas..

same goes to Argentina as well.. The first big name Argentine to made an EPL switch was Veron..then Crespo, Heinze etc...the exceptions are Mascherano and Tevez to an extent..culture and climate plays a big role I think
