Belletti: Neymar is broken easily
The former Barcelona right-back has questioned the mental toughness of the Brazilian after another disappointing showing
Juliano Belletti has accused Neymar of being “broken easily” following an anonymous display in Santos' 2-1 defeat at the hands of Corinthians.
The young Brazilian striker failed to make an impact in the first-leg of the State Championship final, with the former Barcelona and Chelsea full-back adding to his growing list of critics.
“Normally he does not play well against Tite, who have a game plan much like in Europe. With two lines of four he is well marked, there is always cover behind the player marking Neymar, this just neutralises him,” Belletti told SporTV.
“Neymar is broken very easily when he realises that the game is not for him.
“He has hardly appeared in the game [against Corinthians], he is not feeling confident enough to take on the responsibility that he assumed, and assumed well. This is lacking right now for Santos.”
However, the 36-year-old gave Neymar the benefit of the doubt, placing some of the blame on the rest of the team.
“He does not have a player that divides that responsibility with him. Previously you had Ganso, who shared some responsibility of this marking.”

what i noticed in him is his excellent associative play +skills to draw the markers+willingness to track back n defend !!
but that being said i would prefer a player like Cavani too ..but dunno why our coaching staff doesn't need/consider player with skill set like cavani's
They might ask Messi for an opinion , so...and some CF may not want to go to a messi-centric style..Ibra and to an extend Villa failed

entha giggs bhai..thats all BS.. messi ude opinion vechaano team undakune...its not coz of that..if we plan to continue build the team around messi then they will go for guys who can help out him..neymar is THE star player in Santos.game revolves around him there ..n u think coaching staff took messi opinion on him vn we showed intrest? on sporting side they would have thought whther he will combatable but i dont think he has a say in that, neither will he want to !!They might ask Messi for an opinion , so
In case of Villa it was clear for Villa that he would be used in LW rather than as CF before he signed..he signed knowing that..n he joined us to win trophies
n he is a succes imo he in his 30's now n had crucial part in us winning league n CL
Ibra was a bad signing both in sporting n financial sense..n more of his failure has to do with him being a lazy n uncaring bum rather than Messi taking the central role !!
