Dear Friends, I have just got an important information. Please confirm it. When there is a 3 way tie they will take the goal difference in the matches involving those 3 teams. For eg : If Spain and Croatia draw their next match & Italy defeat Ireland, then all the 3 teams end up with 5 points. Then it is the GOAL Difference in the matches involving those 3 which will decide the 2 who will go through. So, IF IT IS A 3 WAY TIE the goals they scored against Ireland will not be considered.
So if Spain and Croatia play out a 2-2 draw(or any draw higher than 1-1) , then Italy will be out. In short , Italy is at the mercy of SPAIN and CROATIA. SPAIN and CROATIA Ccan make a deal which can take both of them to QF , at the same time oust Italy.

Can Giggs, Santi, Hitman,Moovybuf....CAN ANYONE CONFIRM THIS?
If this is the case, then what is your opinion? Do you think Spain and Croatia will do that ? Do you think they should do that?

One thing is sure. If Italy were in Spain's shoes , they would have absolutely played for a high scoring draw. Italy is known for that. They win by hook or crook and luck.

your theory doesn't make sense, just hate. What ITA gain by such a deal (if they were in the place of ESP or CRO) , it may happen only if their rivalry, or position in point table etc...
