if i remeber correctly vijay had said that the name ilaya thalapathy was given by one of his fans..he wrote a letter to vijay and there he mentioned ilaya thalapathy..
Dude, Vijay was named Ilayathalabathy by his dad, that is already in use and hence he does not use the other tags ....
Simple - If the name comes in his films, it is official ... these are visible worldwide as it is part of the film .... the banner stuffs is not visible worldwide, I mean the reach is far too less .... films are business oriented and there is a price for evrything related to it .... banners are fan made ...
Kamal is known as Aandavar (God) , does it come anywhere except banners ???

but as I said - if it comes in a film or a poster printed by the production house (where business is involved) - it is official , cos they need to take approval from the hero before they add stuffs other than his screen name ...
