Nanban in final schedule?
Director Shankar and his Nanban team are currently busy with the final schedule of the film in Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Music composed by Harris Jayaraj is likely to be released soon. There are reports that the film will grace theatres for Diwali.
Vijay, Srikanth and Jiiva will play the lead roles in Tamil. S.J. Suryah will play the role of Chatur (Omi Vaidya). Ileana D'Cruz will appear in the role played by Kareena Kapoor, and Sathyaraj will appear as the insensitive professor Virus, which was played by Boman Irani. The movie will be released in Telugu as 3 Rascals.

Nanban nearing climax!
The Nanban team is currently in the Andaman islands shooting the climax scene. In the Hindi version, Rajkumar Hirani came in for a lot of praise for the heartwarming finale and Shankar also wants to make sure that the film closes on a high note. So he wants to make sure that the climax scene is perfect. He is hoping that the audience will leave the theatre with a big smile on their lips and keep coming back for more.
It is expected that the audio release of Nanban will be held soon. Vijay's fans cannot wait and are anxious to see what Vijay and Shankar have cooked up between them!

Nanban 90% comeplete, remaining shoot in Hindustan college next week
Nanban directed by Shankar is moving on rapid pace and this might be the first time, the director is wrapping up a film in a record time.
Shankar is rushing with the shoot and the film is nearing its completion. After the schedules followed by Victoria Hostel & AVM studios, the shooting is all set to commence in Hindustan college next week. Though the director is busy with regular shooting schedules he is leaving no stone unturned as the editing and rest of the technical works are also going on a brisk pace. He assigned the editing work to Editor Anthony completely. Almost 90 percent of the Nanban’s shoot has been completed including the climax. Director Shankar has added few more scenes to the Tamil version to match the taste of the audiences in Kollywood. The film has 109 scenes in total after including the new scenes.
As the shoot and the rest of the works are going in a jet speed we can expect Nanban for a Diwali release! Let us wait for the official announcement from the filmmakers.

Shankar canning introduction scenes of Nanban

The shoot of Shankar directed Nanban is currently progressing at a private apartment in Chennai. Director Shankar is canning the opening sequence with the lead stars Jeeva and Srikanth. Vijay one of the lead star has wrapped up his introduction part well before and Jeeva has wrapped up his part yesterday.
Director Shankar has added few more scenes to the Tamil version to match the taste of Kollywood audiences. The film has 109 scenes in total after including the new scenes.
The shoot and the rest of the works are going in a jet speed . The audio rendered by Harris Jayraj .
Recently Shankar has roped in Andrea Jeremiah to dub her melodious voice for Ileana, the female lead of the film.
Nanban is produced under the banner of Gemini Film Circuit by Raju Easwaran and T. Muthuraj.

Is Raghava Lawrence doing a cameo in Shankar’s 3 Idiots remake Nanban?
Lawrence as an actor has become hot property in Kollywood after the super success of Kanchana.
Shankar it seems has given Lawrence the role done by Javed Jafri in the original, as the person who makes hero impersonate him in college.
A source close to Shankar said: “ The director feels that Lawrence has a natural flair for comedy and scenes between him and Vijay will be one of the highlights of the film.”
