    Trivandrum-Kanyakumari Electrification Work Inspected

    The Commissioner of Railway Safety (Southern Railway), S. K. Mittal inspected the electrification work between Thiruvananthapuram to Kanyakumari railway line on Thursday.

    Safety features

    He said that a detailed report on the steps taken on safety features would be submitted to the higher authorities within a week.

    This report would help the officials ascertain the safety of the track, it was said.

    The Deputy Regional Manager, Rajesh Agarwal who accompanied S. K. Mittal said that immediately after getting green signal from the higher authorities, the goods trains would be operated on the Thiruvananthapuram-Kanyakumari railway track.

    A couple from Paris, Julien Gueguen Carroll and Clara Cressy, got married at Isa Viswa Vidyalayam at Anayara, Thiruvananthapuram on Friday in the presence of Swami Isa in a unique ‘Energy Wedding’ ceremony.
