Chief Minister Oommen Chandy inaugurated the IIITM-K campus in Technopark on Tuesday.
In his inaugural address, Chandy said that the State Government has allocated 10 acres of land in Technocity, where the government intends to create a world-class campus having advanced facilities, laboratories, hostels, staff quarters and other amenities.
He said the aim is to enable IIITM-K to establish itself as a premier institution of national importance for postgraduate and doctoral studies in IT and related areas.
