Balyakalasakhi is a pure love story revolving around Majeed played by Mammootty and Suhra played by Isha Talwar which begins from their childhood.The movie begins with Majeed searching for a job in Kolkata.He loses his bag and money on the way,but is helped by Selvi played by Seema,who introduces him to Ameen Sahib played by Sasi Kumar.Ameen Sahib gives Majeed a job in his press.Mejeed then meets Shabnam played by Tanusree Ghosh,daughter of Ameen Sahib and Praful played by Preim Sheik,a rebel and a writer.Rest of the story deals with love story between Majeed and Suhara and how and where life takes them.
Mammootty, in his double role of Majeed and his father has enacted his characters perfectly.Isha Talwar as Suhara has improved her self form her previous movie and came out to be good.Other actors including Sasi Kumar,Tanusree Ghosh,Kavitha Nair,Preim Sheik,Seema and other child artist had done their job with full justice.

Camera by Hari Nair is just incredible.He has captured the beauty of the village and the streets of Kolkata with Brilliance.Music by Raghavan Master and Shahabaz Amen is a treat for all the music lovers.Pramod Payyannur has done his job sincerely.Editing seems bit faltered as many scenes in the movie have been unexpectedly cut short.
