Juanfran Torres is one of the targets on Real Madrid's radar, as the club looks to reinforce its right flank. The club is weighing up an approach for the Atlético de Madrid player in order to strengthen this position.

Juanfran – who recently made his debut for the Spanish national team and is currently in Poland preparing for the Euros – played for the Real Madrid youth team at both the under-16 and under-18 stages before he moved up to Real Madrid Castilla (Real's reserve team).

After a loan stint at Espanyol, Juanfran signed for Osasuna, who went on to sell him to Atlético de Madrid at the beginning on 2011 for over €4 million. Since Simeone's arrival, the player has become established in the first team at right-back, a new position to him, as he had previously played in more attacking roles throughout his career.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter Milan is interested in making an offer for Real Madrid's Argentinian international Fernando Gago, although the nerazzurri club already knows that Real won’t negotiate for less than €7 million.

Inter coach Andrea Stramaccioni wants to rejuvenate his team's centre-midfield and one of his first targets is the Argentinian player. Dejan Stankovic (33 years), Esteban Cambiasso (31) and Javier Zanetti (3 are all pushing on.

Last summer, Fernando Gago left Real on loan to Roma. He played 32 official games last season and was one of the players most used by his coach, Luis Enrique.

Although he was one of the giallorossi team's key players, the club decided not to use the option to buy the player – acquired last year – for €7 million. The club from the Italian capital city seemed willing to offer Real €3 million for the Argentinian and Roma Sporting Director Franco Baldini – an old face around the Bernabéu – was in fact in Madrid for negotiations.

However, the appointment of Zdenek Zeman as coach of Roma could put the move on ice, given that the veteran Czech manager likes another type of player in the midfield area of his team.

A rather strange and enlightening declaration has been made by Polish national team coach Franciszek Smuda, who has stated that Lukasz Piszczek – right-back at Borussia Dortmund – will end up signing for Real Madrid.

“In my opinion, three of my players will be leaving Borussia Dortmund. Robert Lewandowski will go to Manchester United, Jakub Blaszczykowski to another team in England and Lukasz Piszczek to Real Madrid. They have all set their sights high and want to develop as players”, Poland’s coach said.

Piszczek is 27 and has had two fantastic seasons at the Bundesliga champions - Borussia Dortmund - after six years at Hertha Berlin. The Polish right-back played well on his debut for his country against Greece and set up Lewandowski for his team’s goal.

Real Madrid’s interest in Lukasz Piszczek is nothing new. The club has been keeping an eye on him for some time and it is understood that he is José Mourinho’s type of player. The odd thing about all this is that Borussia Dortmund – current Bundesliga champions who have already lost Japanese midfielder Shinji Kagawa to Manchester United – will have to do some serious rebuilding if its three Polish players depart.

José Mourinho has highlighted the name of Marouane Fellaini on his list of possible reinforcements. His number one target was and still is Javi Martinez, but the manager has been made aware by Real Madrid that signing the player from Athletic Bilbao is nigh on mission impossible.

So Mourinho, who knows the market well, has drawn up a shortlist of candidates. One of his priorities is to strengthen the central midfield, as well as the right side of the defence. The Everton midfielder meets Mou’s requirement. The Toffees have already rejected an offer from Chelsea (€15m plus Lukau on loan) and another from Arsenal (€20m).

The biggest Premier League clubs are surprised by the Belgian’s progress, having just had his most successful season to date. He topped the rankings in terms of balls recovered (something that interests Mou), as well as aerial balls won. He was also the player who covered the most kilometres on the pitch.

Real Madrid would have to dig deep to pry Fellaini away from Everton. He has other offers, plus he wasn’t cheap. Everton paid €20m to Standard Liege for his services. He has a contract until 2016 and Everton isn’t willing to sell him for less than €30m, but Real will never pay that much and would look elsewhere for more affordable options.
