Broadband Combo Plans
dubbed as 2 Mbps Xpress
Unlimited Broadband Plans
with fair usage cap in
Mumbai circle.
MTNL Mumbais 2 Mbps
Xpress Unlimited Broadband
Combo Plans (with FUP on
Speed) comes at Rs. 600, Rs.
750, Rs. 1000 and Rs. 1500
per month. Plan-600
provides 8 GB data usage at 2
Mbps speed and 256 Kbps
beyond the 8 GB usage.
While Plan-750 and Plan-
Rs.1000 plans offer 15 GB
and 22 GB Data usage at 2
Mbps speed and beyond fair
usage cap, speed will be 512
Kbps for further Unlimited
downloads. With Plan-1500,
subscriber get 22 GB Data
usage at 2 Mbps speed
thereafter, speed will be 1
Mbps for further Unlimited
downloads.
Apart from above new plans
with Speed Cap, MTNL
Mumbai also offers various
True Unlimited Broadband
Plans without any fair usage
policy on speed and data
usage starting from Rs. 395
per month.

BSNL Revises Unlimited
Broadband Plans, More
Speed Same Price.
Starting from February
1st, 2012, BSNL Broadband
users will get will get approx
50% increased or Double
speed at same price in most
of the plans.
The Broadband plans in
which speed up-gradation
will happen are BBG Combo
299,BB Home UL 499 , BB
Home Combo UL 625, BBg
Combo ULD 85 and BB Home
Combo ULD 900.
For BBG Combo 299 users the
speed will be revised to 512
Kbps from its existing 256
Kbps speed where as in BB
Home UL 499 plan it will be
increased till 512 Kbps upto
4Gb and 256 Kbps beyond
4GB where as it was 256
Kbps prior.
In BB Home Combo ULD 900
plan there is no major speed
hike as they have given 512
Kbps beyond 8GB usage
which was prior 256 Kbps.

I tried Docomo 3 G yesterday (took the device for 1 day to test) and got download speed variying from 900 kbps (10 PM) to 3.5 mbps (morning 6 AM)..
Got around 2 mbps at 11 PM.... not bad right?
