ur missing the point,,,,njaaan failure anenu alla paranjeee .. Cesc failure anenu paranjaaal Cristiano um failure anenu paryendi varum atleast in case of madrid..
in case of cesc he played most minutes last seasson n won liga too.then how can u term him as failures...
Ye no of trophies nokuvanel clealry Giggs one amonng the most succesful players...like Xavi is THE most succesful player for Barca n ye trophies do count when we consider a player a failure/success
its not about whos better..again ur missing my point.. its about being a failure or not...
U can count Cescs assists..he is among leading assist makers in liga last season..
my point was Cesc played major part in us winning liga last season n season before when we won Eur SC,CDR n CWC so his time in barca is not failure..
iam m not such a noob to consider pedro n alexis better player than Cristiano..but in terms of succes with their respective times with barca n Madrid hell ye Alexis n pedro has btter record than Cristiano
Manchester United are expected to come back in for Leighton Baines and Ander Herrera in January. (Source: Mail)
Numerous ineffective performances in UCL ( That is where I watch FCB most often),getting substituted regularly in the second half at critical points in the game.Regularly cutting a frustrated figure on the ground,Think he even did not play a few crucial matches for them last season. Getting whistled by his home fans, constant speculation linking him with a move away.
Don't think these are all things associated with a successful player at a club.I don't read much into assists column in La Liga, personally think there are too many teams which are mere pushovers for FCB and RM.Think even Fabregas admits he has not been a such a successful story at FCB,that is ofcourse why he regularly talks about his dream of being a success at Barcelona.
Ofcourse U could argue that end product is what matters the most and he has X assists last season in La liga. But as a neutral always felt he just isn't as effective as he was at Arsenal playing for Barcelona
Fabregas Man Utd link vannathu muthal pinney Boney Fabregas nte purakeyaa, might have got some confirmation from Martino regarding 'playing time' ( playing time just simply didn't mean the time he is on the ground ) , but in crucial matches when the team needs something extra
'Tito Vilanova saw Fabregas not as his solutions man, but the one who made way when something more was needed. In the big games, or when Barca had their backs to the wall, Fabregas was often either dragged off on the hour mark - generally the time managers will make their first change when things aren't going to plan - or he was left on the bench. Maybe the cause or the effect of his plunge in confidence.
The midfielder played a total of just eight minutes over two legs in the Supercopa against Real Madrid at the start of the season: he made a brief appearance in the first leg and was an unused substitute at the Santiago Bernabeu.
On week two of La Liga, with Barca losing 1-0 away at Osasuna, Fabregas was replaced on 62 minutes before Messi's brace won the game.
The following week in a tight 1-0 win against Valencia, he was again brought off on the hour mark with Barca hanging on without him for all three points.
In El Clasico at the Camp Nou in early October, the midfielder was replaced after 61 minutes once more, with the game finishing 2-2.
Down to 10 men and leading 4-3 in a crazy game away at Depor two weeks later, Tito sacrificed Fabregas after an hour, bringing on Xavi to steady the ship for the final 30 minutes.
He played a total of just 20 minutes in two physical and tense Champions League games against Celtic. And in Barca's first league defeat of the season against Real Sociedad in January, Fabregas was replaced again on 58 minutes.
A pattern was emerging and it would continue in other crucial games, including defeats against Milan in the Champions League and Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey - at the Camp Nou. Both times Fabregas was the man Tito substituted with half an hour remaining, when the former Barca manager was desperate for something to change.
In the Champions League quarter-finals the Catalans were heading out after Javier Pastore's opener for PSG, before Pedro equalised in the 71st minute - 10 minutes after Fabregas had been hauled off.
When the going got tough, Cesc Fabregas's number was up. Literally.
He was an unused substitute in two massive Champions League clashes: the all-important second leg against Milan, when Barca turned the tie on its head hammering the Italians 4-0, and the humbling at the hands of Bayern Munich in the first semi-final.

Cesc inte elaa Barca matches um kanda aalenu sthtiku eniku thoniyathu he was good right from start(though not brilliant as with Arsenal) with Tito ..coz we played much direct vn Tito started out..he had some great games too..but later when Tito got ill n moved away Cescs perfo also declined... as Xavi himslef said there wasnt much tactical sessions after tito left... i wont say cesc time till now with us was Spectacular but he have contributed okayishly n cant be considered as a failure,as i feel he can contribute much more when play style suits him..vch v r doing currently under tata..with more vertical play..
Henrikh Mkhitaryan,Diego Costa, Christian Tello all revealed they seriously thought about joining Liverpool at one point in the window..Missed out on all three..
