Young star Prithviraj is one actor who has outlived trends. The hardworking actor who has two state awards in his kitty has been looked upon as the next big phenomenon in Malayalam film industry for long. But the actor who is often referred to as the young superstar is not perturbed about such things. In an interview to a daily he said that actors will come and go and trends will change but he is least bothered about them. Prithviraj says that he came to the industry as an 18 year old and now he is 32,whatever change has happened is natural and that he is not concerned about anything. New actors will come and go and it is a usual phenomenon. The industry has undergone transformation and it is a natural phenomenon. Prithviraj says that he doesn't fear about the arrival of new talent or changing trends.
Speaking about his new release Ivide he said that, he and Shyamaprasad had been discussing about various projects for a long time and things just happened with Ivide The movie is an experimental one and he says that he is happy about it. Prithviraj added that his next film is Ennu Ninte Moitheen which is a romantic film based on a real life incident. Double Barrel an out and out fun film is also ready for release. He is currently shooting for Anarkali and Amar Akbar Antony a laugh riot directed by parody artiste Nadirsha. Prithviraj is often spoken about in glowing terms for his commitment to the medium of cinema. The young actor who seldom restricts himself to acting but is known to take keen interest in different facets of filmmaking has proven that he is here for the long haul. Highs and lows have had little effect on him and no wonder that he is the first actor among the young crop who was considered superstar material

2014 FEBRUARY 21: സെവൻത് ഡേ യിലെ ഡേവിഡ് എബ്രഹാമിന്റെ വീടിനുള്ളിലെ രംഗങ്ങള് കൂടി തീര്ന്നതോടെ സിനിമയില് രാജുവേട്ടന് അഭിനയിക്കുന്ന ഭാഗങ്ങള് അവസാനിച്ചു. തുടര്ന്നുള്ള 4 ദിവസത്തെ വിശ്രമത്തിനു ശേഷം പിക്കറ്റ് 43 വിന്റർ ഷെഡ്യൂൾ ഷൂട്ടില് രാജുവേട്ടന് ജോയ്ന് ചെയ്യേണ്ടതാണ്. ഇനി 7th Day യിൽ ബാക്കിയുള്ളത് അനു മോഹൻ, ടോവിനോ, പ്രവീൺ, ജനനി എന്നിവര് മാത്രം അഭിനയിക്കുന്ന ആതിരപ്പള്ളി വെള്ളച്ചാട്ടത്തിനു മുകളില് വച്ച് ഷൂട്ട് ചെയ്യണ്ട ഭാഗങ്ങള് മാത്രം എല്ലാവര്ക്കും നല്ല ടെന്ഷന്.. പോകും മുമ്പ് രാജുവേട്ടനോട് അത് പറയുകയും ചെയ്തിരുന്നു.

തന്റെ കഥാപാത്രം സ്കീനില് തെളിയാത്ത രംഗമായിട്ടു കൂടെ പുതുമുഖങ്ങളായ 4 പേരുടെ പ്രകടനങ്ങളും അതു വഴി സിനിമയും നന്നാവാന് രാജുവേട്ടന് നടത്തിയ ശ്രമം എനിക്കിന്നും

ഒരു കാലത്ത് പുതിയ രണ്ട് നടന്മാര്* വന്ന് നല്ല സിനിമകളുടെ ഭാഗമായി വിജയങ്ങളും കൈയ്യടികളും സ്വന്തമാക്കിയപ്പോള്*, അവരെ പുതിയ പ്രേം നസീറായും, സത്യനായും ഒന്നും കാണാതെ സ്വന്തം നിലയില്* മികച്ച കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളായി മാറാനുള്ള സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യവും പിന്തുണയും അന്നത്തെ പ്രേക്ഷക സമൂഹം കൊടുത്തതിന്റെ ഫലമാണ് ഇന്നത്ത മമ്മൂക്കയും ലാലേട്ടനും. പൃത്വിരാജിനെയും, ഫഹദിനെയും, നിവിനെയും ഒക്കെ അനാവശ്യ താരതമ്യത്തില്* പെടുത്താതെ അവരവരായി അംഗീകരിക്കാനുള്ള പക്വത നമ്മള്* കാണിക്കേണ്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
