She has been part of many successful films like Mohanlal’s Ayaal Kadha Ezhuthukayanu, Suresh Gopi’s Lelam and Kalabhavan Mani’s Karunadi Kuttan. She has also tasted success in Kollywood as well. But, she decided to take a beak from movies and has not been active in films for a while now.

However, Nandini will return to Malayalam movies soon as she will play the female lead in Sangeeth’s movie Elanjikavu P.O. Produced by Sunilal Annchalummood. Mohanlal starrer Shikaar’s team, comes together to do a new flick. Director of the movie M.Padmakumar and scriptwriter T.Sureshkumar is all set in the making of their new movie ‘Jalam’. The producer of the movie is M.padmakumar and Andews. As per reports, the male lead role is done by Jain and Priyanka, the female lead role.

The plot of ‘Jalam’ is a true story, based on the life’s of Usha and Jomon, a family living underneath Thazathangadi bridge in Kottayam. Jomon with not even a regular daily wage, their only dream is to have a shelter to live. The plot of the movie moves around telling their story to make a living and their dream to have a shelter of their own.

However, the movie’s switch on was performed by Jomon and Usha. ‘Jalam’s release will definitely have people’s attention towards families living in such conditions.
