Manjhil virinjha pookkal enna cinemaye innathe kaazhchappadil nokki kanaruthu. A movie of 1980 December!!. Annu ,this movie was a revelation. Jayan antharichu 40 divasam kazhinjhappol iranghiya cinemayanu. Athukondu thanne Manjhil virinjha pookkal Malayala cinemayude oru turning point aayittu kanakkakkam. Manjhil virinjha pookkalkku munpum sheshavum. Aa kaalaghattathile Malayala cinema Prem Nazir-Jayan achuthandil karanghikkondirunna Chetta....-Aniya..../Villain JosePrakash/adi idi cinemakalayirunnu. 1970 kalile cinemakalil brilliant ennu parayavunna part aa cinemakalile avismaraneeya gaananghalayirunnu. Other than the great songs those movies followed a stereotype. So 1980 was a turning point. It started with Manjhil virinjha pookkal. Ippol kaanumpol melodrama aanennu thonnum. Pakshe aa kaalghattathil athoru sambhavamayirunnu. And what followed after that ,from 1981 onwards were a series of brilliant movies from Bharathan,K.G.George ,Padmarajan,Mohan,M.T-I.V.Shashi/Hariharan. The period from 1980-1987 is regarded as the golden period of Malayalam cinema and it all started with Manjhil virinjha pookkal.

ee cinema okke ippo outdated ayye thonum ..pakshe iranghiya timeil click ayye thaanum , athondu thanne ippo ulla reethiyil rating kodutha correct picture undakilla enna thonunathu .
