MY BOSS - My Review..!!

Status : Balcony full, FC - 80%+

Went to see this movie with expectations, after hearing good reports here. MY BOSS is a
romantic comedy entertainer, with superb standard comedies and some sentimence at the end..
2.45 hour fun filled journey..

Story :

Priya (Mamtha) is a fiery boss who works in a Mumbai based software company.. She is strict in her work..
Manu Varma (Dileep) is a simple man from Kuttand, in search of a job and finally ends up as the assistant of Priya..
Later on, he has some wicked ideas in his mind and trickly brings his boss to his house in Kuttanad.

Performances :

Dileep stealed the show.. Rocking performance.. Awsome comedy timings and superb in the sentimental scenes at the end too..
This is the Dileep we all want to see.. Truely the Janapriya nayakan..

Mamtha also did a very good job.. Thought that it was a miscast at the starting, but she did a very good job as the story progressed.. Perfect casting..

Shajon was very good.. He got a role with good screen space and did it very well.. His comedy numbers had awsome response..

Sai kumar was superb.. Sai kumar - Dileep combo scenes were superb.. And he was excellent at the pre - climax scene too..

All others did a good job..

Jithu Joseph's direction was good.. so as the script and dialogues.
Heard the movie is inspired from an English movie. But if it can be presented to us in a very good way, I dont find anything wrong in doing so..

Songs were superb.. All the 3 songs matched the situation.. "Suryane Kaithodan", "Kuttanadan Punchayile"
and "Enthinennu ariyilla" all were very pleasing to hear and well picturised too..

Positives :

Dileep..
Mamtha..
Saikumar, Shajon and other actors.
Songs.
Comedy scenes and dialogues, superb..
Direction.

Negatives :

Duration.. They should've trimmed a bit.. There were few unwanted scenes,
Example : Dileep and Mamtha going to see the sunset and the
encounter with the drunken man etc..

Pre-climax scenes should have been more convincing.. But liked the way
it was presented..

Claps and Koovals :

Few claps for Dileep introduction. Unanimous rocking response for comedy scenes and dialogues..

Claps for Lalettan advertisement..

No koovals for the movie..

Something more :

My Boss is a fun ride from Bombay to Kuttanad. No double meaning dialogues and comedies, and full of standard comedies.. Go and watch it
guys.. You will be entertained for sure..

Story wise, its not a big deal.. But, its told in a very good and entertaining manner, which makes it a super entertainer of this season..

Verdict : Super family entertainer.

Yet another successful venture for our industry this year.. Great going.. Malayala cinemakku vasantha kaalam..
