Delhi records highest 1-day COVID-19 deaths, day after registering highest cases in 24 hours
With 104 people dying of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, Delhi has recorded the highest single day COVID-19 fatalities.

Punjab continues to fare worst in Covid-19 fatality rate in country
When the other states are showing remarkable improvement on the count, Punjabs CFR has been on the rise, reaching 3.14% on Tuesday, more than double the national average of 1.49%. Punjab has consistently fared worst in the country in terms of Covid-19 case fatality rate (CFR) for the last more than two months with the Union government expressing concern over the issue again.

Punjab: 2.95% : 3.14%
Gujarat: 2.93% : 2.1%
Maharashtra: 2.90% : 2.6%
Madhya Pradesh: 2.08 % : 1.7%

National average: 1.71% : 1.49%

Real covid 19 death rate is well below 1 % irrespective of area as varius serological test s across world prove that real infections are 10 to 80 times hiegher depending on positivity rate and amount of testing...long term mortality can be more as many people die later after turning negetive due to varous complications ...
