My Thoughts
I had very big expectation out of this movie seeing the reviews here and I was little worried whether this could backfire..
But right from the title cards, I felt a breath of fresh air and movie took off from the word go and maintained a steady graph with a summiting climax..Indeed one of the best thriller movies in malayalam.
Some of the scenes were indeed in the league of some Hollywood movies and I was left spell bound Jeethu Jospeh
A solid script is the backbone for any movie and Memories had an impermeable script.. Dialogues were also crisp, sharp and to the point..

Memories reiterates the point that a thriller movie doesn’t always need a jaw dropping suspense element..
Usually there is a common pattern which all malayalam suspense films follows(Cliches, Killer motive and many more ) and Memories never falls for that trap…


Performance
Prithwi.. He carries out the role of the drunken cop very well.. He is definitely growing as an actor and some of the subtle expressions of his were brilliant..
He enacted the pain, helplessness of Sam Alex, the deserted cop with utmost sincerity.. The rainy night scene where Prithwi chases the killer …..Felt goosebumps while watching
All the supporting cast also gave a neat perfo..

The suspense element is definitely inspired from a hollywood movie ..I am not naming the movie here as it might be a spoiler for many..
