"Kunjananthante Kada" fails to impress

Saw the movie from Kanhangad Kailas 8pm show..

Movie has a good first half. Not going into the details of the story as it has been described by many people in the forum. Normally in these kind of stories wife will be very supportive n wil always stand by hero's side. tat cliche s broken here.The frustrations of both husband and wife s depicted well. First half s mainly dedicated to the clashes of hero n heroine. This lended lot of freshness to the movie.

But the second half went out of control. The hero becomes more and more eccentric and i doubt his emotions were conveyed effectively to the public. Hero himself comes up with alternate solutions (one which would be beneficial to the peopl and the shop owners) to the proposed road. Hero also conveys the common issue of not utilising the sanctioned funds for the proposed projects. Corruption, azhimathi thudangiya common man issues are raised by the hero. But all of a sudden his attitude changes because of one incident. Once he is ready to move out of his shop his life n the world prospers. Swantham kada vittu kodukkanulla madi mathramanu ella prashnangalkum karanam enna avasthayilekku cinema ethunnu, which itslf questions the name of the movie.....

Altogether film ends up as as a wasted effort to convey something good.....Performance wise mammootty cakewalked through the role. New heroine had meaty role n she s real revelation. She is the biggest plus of this movie...
