    Default Rush - Movie Review

    Movie Name: Rush
    Venue: Cinepolis, Ahmedabad
    Time: 09:00 AM
Attendance: 10% (It was a raining weekday)

    Cast:
    Chris Hemsworth as James Hunt
    Daniel Brühl as Niki Lauda
Alexandra Maria Lara as Marlene Knaus
    Olivia Wilde as Suzy Miller
    Pierfrancesco Favino as Clay Regazzoni

    Movie Review:
This is a biographical movie depicting the sporting Formula 1 rivalry between Niki Lauda and James Hunt during 1970s.
The duo start from the lower Formula 3 championship where James Hunt wins the title beating Niki Lauda and others. Both the drivers then make their way up to Formula 1 in some contrasting scenarios. Niki Lauda signs for Ferrari and becomes the world champion while James Hunt signs for McLaren and this is where the duo are pitted against each other (equally, in terms of the car mechanics) in the grandest stage of a race, the F1 World Championship in 1976.
Who wins it? How he wins it? What circumstances push one against each other?

The rivalry between the two couldn't be presented any better than this and the credit goes to Ron Howard and Peter Morgan for making this adrenaline-pumping movie. Ron Howard is surely back with a bang! The magic of 'Cinderella Man', 'Apollo 13' and 'A Beautiful Mind' is surely there to see.
Chris Hemsworth as James Hunt, with that British accent (considering he is Australian), gave a stupendous performance. By far, the best movie he has acted in.
But for me, the standout performer was Daniel Brühl. Simply fantastic in his role of legendary Niki Lauda.
Alexandra Maria Lara as Marlene Knaus (Niki Lauda's wife) was excellent in her role as well and clearly led the other lady (Olivia Wilde as Suzy Miller) in the movie.
During some scenes in the movie, I literally felt the goosebumps!
Hans Zimmer's brilliant background score makes the movie even more better.
The cinema house was a dull scene with many absent seats. Mind you, Rush is not for those who thrive to enjoy mindless movies.

    Movie Rating: 8/10

Hope you liked the movie review. :)

The man is simply amazing! He may not have that perfect body but he is what we trainers term
    ‘functionally fit'.
