Hold over concept is as follows:
Case-1 (General) : If the collection for 3 shows (Noon show excluded) in any day (within a week) comes less than Rs.40,000/= in a theatre having a collection of Rs.50,000/= per show.
Case-2 (Exceptional) : If one week collection is less than 2.8 Lakhs in a theatre having a collection of Rs.50,000/= per show.
Case-2 is applicable if the distributer is having strong hold. If not, case-1 will be followed by most of the theatres.
In the case of Ikka movies, Case-1 is being followed by most of the recent distributors like Playhouse, Achappu etc.....
