The Lunchbox - My RevieW

The movie tells life of two strangers who fall in a relationship through lunchbox.

Main Highlight of the movie is the top notch performance by the lead actors Irrfan Khan, Nimrat Kaur and Nawazuddin Siddique. Irrfan Khan yet again proves why he is the best in acting. His body gestures, movement of eyes and lip, and even a moment of silence speaks a lot.. What an actor!!!

Nawazuddin Siddique excels through his career best performance. His mannerisms and dialogue delivery is a treat to the audience.

Now comes the surprise package, Nimrat Kaur. Absolutely fascinating performance. So naturalistic performance with apt body language. An actress to look forward to.

Another actor who excelled in this movie is a voice. The voice of AUNTY by Bharti Achrekar. Not even seen in a single scene, the actor of this voice excelled in every scene the voice had to come out.

Hats off to Ritesh Batra, who had managed the direction and screenplay, for making a simple theme in such a fabulous manner.

The only negative I felt in the movie was regarding the husband of Nimrat. After the scene where he asks his wife to make something else than Aloo gobi, he simply vanishes out. Not even a single hint on what he ate thereafter.

Summing up, The Lunchbox could have spoken more, but you cant ask for more when you are provided with such a yummy meal. Just sit back and travel through an experience worth remembering.

Most movies which leaves you to determine the end have always found a jammed presence in the heart of movie lovers. Hopefully The Lunchbox too will repeat the history making it a movie worth watching a 1000 times.
