City's GD is 42 now.. 2nd best is Liverpool with 29.. I think it will become crucial at the end of the season...

Was it a home match or an away match? Who cares? Wherever it is, City is the same. Use the whole 100 yards, attack, pass, shoot. Aguerro had a woodwork earlier on itself before scoring a beauty. Then there was a chance by him deflected off. City should have been 3 up by half-time. 3-1 actually. don't think the Spurs goal by Dawson was offside. Wondered why Pelligrini opted for Jovetic instead of Negredo? Maybe he felt Negredo wasn't required for the demolition. The penalty on Dzeko was harsh. The def had caught the ball first not the man! The referee cuts down Spurs to 10. Toure shoots in 2-0. Maybe, to erase that penalty lead, 2 minutes later, Dzeko makes it 3-0 close range. Spurs do not 'park the bus' but respond with a goal and there goes another chance of a clean sheet! Don't think City is destined for clean sheets. That goal spurred things up. Jovetic, the only poor signing from Pelligrini, scores his first for City making it 4-1. Finally Kompany slots in a poacher making it 5-1. City deserved it. 6-0 at home and 5-1 away. Straight 8th win and 20 unbeaten.

Meanwhile, Arsenal and Chelsea help us. Thanks to them, City on top by reversing the table, 1 point ahead of the Gunners.
Jovetic poor signing??? give him chance, he is more than capable....

Since it's not Fergie's Man Utd there won't be much discussion , had seen various incidents like that but when it comes to United it's a talking point

That was a deft finish by Aguero , brilliant ...full stretch diving by Lloris to deny Aguero's header ...don't know whether he will miss the big match on Monday...hamstring ..Dzeko wasted so many chances ..
Commentator was saying Negredo is kept fresh for Monday's game ...

City will not settle even if the score is 3-0 & Spurs forced to respond even with 10 men ...otherwise it could have been much worse ...

Why the Yellow card for Demichelis , he got the ball & Adebayor fell on his legs .....not even caught him...Aguero also got Yellow for protest & Yaya Toure booked for his first foul ( many referees might have ignored that ) ...good decision by Pellegrini to withdraw him..risk of a red card & missing the Chelsea match

For a two footed lunge or a tackle from behind ..even if the attacker gets the ball if he catches the opponent it's a Red by Law I think

for that home record should thank the referee who officiated the West Brom game at Stamford Bridge few months back

vs City ..Chelsea will defend deep & will go for the quick counter-attacks ...it will be a real cracker and we can see an animated Mourinho near the touchline

Jose Mourinho accused West Ham of playing "football from the 19th century" after Chelsea's 0-0 draw at Stamford Bridge.

What else he is expecting from Sam Allardyce
