actually by current form and quality cahill shud be the most expensive in that list..

whatever be Chelsea's sole concentration will be on reaching the Champions League final , they are still third favorites to win the title ...even if If Chelsea wins there is a chance for City rather than Chelsea ..so why take unnecessary risk ..it's commonsense and can't blame them
yes ..LIVERPOOL have been LUCKY ( ithu parayathirikkaanalle advance aayi postiyathu )
From Liverpool's point of view, they will be more than happy to play a "weaker" Chelsea team...I don't think that team is particularly weak anyway...Even if Chelsea play their "strong" team Liverpool will be confident of a victory..

    @Giggs
Mignolet / Schwarzer / Hilario---Both seems to be error prone.
Glen Johnson / Ivanovic---Ivanovic edges this battle because of his superior defensive skills
Skrtel / Cahill----Both Skrtel and Cahill has been immense this season.
Sakho / Kalas----Both inexperienced in PL,but Sakho wins this.
Flanagan / Ashley Cole----Ashely Cole wins this battle hands down.
Joe Allen / Matic----Matic is the considered the player of the season for Chelsea.
    Gerrard / Lampard---Gerrard wins this hands down..Lampard isn't in Gerrard's league..
Lucas / Jon Obi Mikel---Equal battle. Both defensively good.
Coutinho / Salah---Both creative and inventive young players.
Sterling / Ba---Sterling in the form of his life, but Ba scores goals as well.
Suarez / Schrulle----Suarez all the way.But Schurrle is amazingly talented.

    Not so weak...

Chelsea midfielder Ramires will miss the rest of the Premier League season after being handed a four-match ban by the FA on Thursday for elbowing Sunderland's Sebastian Larsson.
Ramires received a three-match ban for the incident, which was not seen by referee Mike Dean, with a further game added because of his sending off against Aston Villa last month

Moyes will reclaim his lost glory as the next Spurs manager.

funny how the season was brutal to two managers. manchester united were the defending champions and Ferguson appoints Moyes as a personal choice. barcelona were the defending champions and Messi appoints Martino as a personal choice. what happens next is unthinkable. united drops down to its worst form, as much as 7th in the table and not qualifying for CL. barca loses to smaller teams, falls out in the CL qf stages and ends a season with no silverware. both managers seem to get the boot. one already has. now the differences are the best part. martino had the support of the dressing room. moyes didn't. martino had no specific game-plan. moyes had but the players were not interested. martino had the support of the fans. no such love for moyes let alone harsh criticism and aeroplane-stunts.

Vellom arinjodaano bhai ee parayune.. if martino was Leo's choice why did he play Leo in RW n Cesc as False 9 cosistently

About game plan..he had specific plan playing ore direct with less possesion(ot pleasing the possesions stats guys)..which was working out in our favour getting results in 1sdt half..later which had 2 Change with Xavi's intervention

not in for a debate as im already feeling mentally down after Titos news,,,njaan enthu paranjaaalum thaangal vishwasikilaa enu aryaaam enaaalum...ethoke postiyaal reply cheythale pattu...
onnu sherikum alochichu okku...if Tata was leo choice he wud play him to his comfort..which he didnt..there goes ur martiono was leo choice argument...as far as game plan was concerned i remember u were among the 1st to criticise tata's initial matches coz of less possesion n beauty of passing n all..that was his game plan, playing more direct.. then all complained about beauty of fast passing n aall.. n that was the way forward according to tata n his plan (no proper CB signing +o9 which he needed for his plan didnt help either) ... which he cudnt continue coz of Xavi's intervention..

hehehee... I wouldn't be surprised if you go on to claim that, Barca finishing off a season without achievements is also an achievement. i had earlier said that, Martino has no strategy and that teams are going to beat them. martino himself has admitted that he is the sole reason for Barca's failure this season, unless of course you consider that as modesty. as for the signing, Martino himself had speculated that Messi might have had an 'matter of influence' in it. now, of course, you might have lots and lots and lots to say, but you know what, the season sucked! no amount of sugar-coating is going to negate that. get a hold!

where did i claim that we had great season??

Had gud moments like beating City @etihad n madrid @ SB in league...Thing is that ur missing my point...Martino had s strategy which he had to change coz Xavis intervention... reaining season team dependent on individual brilliance rather than tactics or team work n i was among the 1st to point out

as about Martino was leos choice yr saying even martion speculated..vch ia agreed in his 1st pc he said may be leo had a say..which was denied by both Board n Leo

u can see that from Tata's decison if he was Leo's choice why he insisted on Cesc as false 9 vch is Leo's most effective position

There is no sugar coating nothing.. im not claimig anyvr we had brilliant season..infact it was disapointing..but not to terms i expected(didnt expect us to beat City or beat madrid @ SB ending their record run) after we started to depend on individual displays to bail us out

Real issue here is that u vr not ready to accept that he had an strategy when actualy he had from start of season (though proper signing vr required for that plan)..that time many here blamed lack of possesion n control when actualy it was the way forward..the tweaking required in our system with available template,,, n then when he changed his strategy as per Xavi's request (which imo exposed the weaknes of tata) after which when we had possesion with not much penetration no results everybody was blaming wasteful possesion strategy with 4MF's which was going to backfire at some point of time
