If not for Gerrard's mistake the score wud have remained 0-0 @ half time..And it wud have meant advantage Liverpool..That means Liverpool doesn't need to go all out for the winner in the 2nd half..do u understand that....or do I need to explain more.....which wud obviously have meant Liverpool can play around Chelsea for fun without taking risks,which wud mean they don't have to concede the 2nd goal..Make any sense..?Well..its not rocket science..

i can understand ur hypothetical advantage liverpool..
its important to have a plan B to score even when u r behing and the opposition is trying to block you.. sumthing to work on for next seasons..no rush..take ur time..

Better Chelsea learnt it first.....remember the points dropped against Villa,Palace,Stoke and Sunderland...

Liverpool don't have to put a back 6 against Chelsea to defend, since,they don't even come out their penalty box.....Even if they do,Liverpool can play 2nd fiddle giving the opposition possession...Matches against Everton @ Anfield and Southampton @ St.Mary's are examples..

Liverpool could do with a draw, but with their form in 2014, BR would have thought , goals will come, rather than playing an 'ugly game', LFC never would like to play... But worse thing is Mou's team hardly gone for goal till they got 'all clear' chances both from LFC player mistakes. So what so called 'fanstastic team' won that game...
